At Oktoberfest, photographer @teo_crawford captures more than celebration. Through the Leica Q3, he reveals the emotion, rhythm, and atmosphere that make this tradition timeless — moments of joy, light, and reflection that stay long after the crowds have gone. by @leicacamerahk

On a recent journey to Kolkata, India, Steve McCurry photographed with the Leica SL3-P, immersing himself in a city alive with colour and constant movement. During monsoon season, heavy rain transformed the streets, while water gathered around every corner and the city never slowed down. Steve moved freely through the changing conditions, watching what the rain did to the light.

Photographer Valentina Sinis, originally hailing from Italy, lives and works in China, Iraq and Italy. Through her extraordinary work, she sheds light on everyday realities and the lives of people who are not usually covered in the media. Her photographs have already been published in many international newspapers and magazines. In a new chapter, the photographer will explore how the struggle shapes and transforms ties to land and family, as well as a sense of belonging, through portraits, landscapes and images of abandoned places. The human cost of the female fighters’ commitment will also be explored.

Inspired by a longing for the remembrance of her ancestors, the American photographer’s (born 2001) series explores contemporary queer family relationships and the enduring legacy of strong, self-assured Black women. The series’ focus is on the lifestyle created for themselves by Stevens’s two sisters and four nieces, who moved from Queens, New York, to share a house on a plot of land in Clayton, North Carolina.

LOBA 2026 得獎者 - Damir Faizulin： Preserving Nature as Preserving Ourselves

The Russian photographer (born 1986) draws attention to the nature and living conditions in the mountains of Dagestan, which lie in the North Caucasus in the south of Russia. His pictures reveal the precarious and delicate balance between nature and the people living there. Faizulin documents the changes currently taking place: the advent of tourism and modern architecture, and the neglect of established structures and culture; whilst, at the same time, celebrating the beauty of the region.

There is something timeless about observing everyday life through a camera.
Without interrupting the moment, photography allows us to preserve genuine expressions, quiet emotions, and passing encounters. It reminds us that even the simplest scenes can leave a lasting impression.
