Celebrated my birthday last month doing my favorite thing with my favorite person. Feeling grateful for this life following a turbulent year.

This was one such moment where I noticed I was starting to feel like myself again, after depression and anxiety brought me down to my knees. Wrote some words to reflect on the experience. Link in bio if you’d like to read them. Also, if anyone out there is struggling and could use someone to talk to, please reach out ☮️☯️🌈 by @leifgeverson

After many uncertain weeks over what the river was going to do next, there were no more maybes. For the collective group of weirdos who religiously monitor the gauges each spring, the moment we live for was here: high water.

Snowmelt influenced by increased temperature, precipitation, and a million other factors eventually makes its way into the river, creating the fickle waves we are fortunate to ride for a few short weeks.

Work, commitments, and relationships take a back seat to the pursuit of being there when the right places receive the right flows. But all bets are off when high water arrives. The only thing certain is a few familiar faces who will be there when the time comes.

This year’s high water was fortunate to coincide with a day that my favorite cinematographer (and partner) was free, and kind enough to film for a few hours. Hope you enjoy a small taste of the best day of the year. Already looking forward to the next one ☮️☯️

Certainly don’t need an excuse to celebrate my favorite human, but yesterday was her 26th birthday so I’ll take the opportunity to do so. Hazel is many things; the ultimate adventure buddy, life partner, support system, and my best friend. She makes the best days untouchable, and the worst ones more than manageable. Her outlook on life, love for others, and infectious smile is the ultimate gift to experience, and a constant reminder of just how lucky I am to have her in my life. I could go on forever, but if you’ve had the good fortune of meeting Hazel, you likely already know. Love ya Hazey Crame. Sorry about your health insurance, and for such a sappy post. by @leifgeverson

What an absolute delight it was to create A Sauce Story. ❄️☃️

It’s not often that two 💅women run 💅 local businesses meet up to tell a story, but that’s exactly how this baby was made. Thank you Shayla and @sauceactive for making this a reality.

Here is a short version, but for a longer one check out Sauce’s website!

Excited to share that my film, Semi-Aquatic, will have its world premiere tonight in Missoula at the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival.

Semi-Aquatic is an exploration of the interspecies relationship which exists inside a fish hatchery.

If you are interested in seeing the film, it will screen in person tonight and Tuesday afternoon in Missoula, as well as virtually through the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival website starting tomorrow through the 25th of February.

Thank you to everyone who helped bring the film to life, and @madzthunder for the beautiful poster. by @leifgeverson
