We will never forget the remarkable men and women who responded heroically on 9-11-2001. And we remember those who lost their lives and their friends and family who live with that loss. ❤️ by @leighsmission

50 Leigh’s Blankies are blessing little ones with @kidsaroundtheworld today!!! The Blankies traveled all the way to PANAMA with @svstudents_ as they helped meet the needs of families in the community.
From their Pastor Zach:
We got to hand off all of the blankets to the pastor and children’s pastors of the church we’re working with! Maddie prayed a blessing over them and right off the bat, we were able to bring a blanket to a mom who has several children, including a 3 week old baby. These blankets will be a massive blessing to the church and the community!! taken in Panama by @leighsmission

Merry Christmas! 🎄✨ We pray this blesses your heart this morning! Our dear friend and ministry partner, Pastor Jojo, along with his amazing team from @nyerielevationchapel , shared a beautiful update from Nyeri, Kenya. Through our combined efforts for our Christmas Love Basket outreach, 82 families in the Witemere Slums (including nearby disabled and elderly neighbors) were blessed with warm blankets and essential food items such as chapati flour, ugali, cooking oil, rice, and sugar.
We are incredibly grateful for each of you who gave, prayed, and supported this project. Your generosity brought warmth, nourishment, and the love of Christ to families this Christmas. Thank you for making this possible! ❤️🎁 taken in Nyeri, Kenya by @leighsmission

LAST day to give towards our LOVE Baskets in Nyeri, Kenya!!
Can you help!?! 🎄 What a blessing to be able to partner with Pastor Jojo of @nyerielevationchapel in Kenya again this year! We are collecting funds to support impoverished families living in the Witemere Slums located in Nyeri, Kenya. Last year our Leigh’s Mission team was able to hand out Leigh’s Blankies and feed almost 200 children as we shared the love of God. Would you consider making a tax deductible donation to Leigh’s Mission so we can bless these families at Christmas? We would like to provide each of them with a Love Basket containing food and a warm wool blanket. Message for more details or any questions! May God bless you this Christmas season! 🎄❤️🎄 { donation link in bio} taken in Nyeri, Kenya by @leighsmission

What a great day!!! Loved spending the morning with these great ladies. We had a blessed time reflecting on God’s faithfulness in our ministry as we enter our 14th year. God willing, the Leigh’s Blankies we sewed today will be gifted to kids displaced or impacted by the California fires. Praying that they will bring them comfort and remind them of God’s love during this devastating time. by @leighsmission

Our Leigh’s Blankie Sew Group celebrated Christmas today with sewing Blankies and a having a Christmas Tea (a huge thank you to Hilmarie for putting it together!!) Not only was it special to be together serving, but during our tea we got to pause and read through Luke 2 together. Such a beautiful time of year celebrating the birth of our Savior!!! This has been a wonderful year with the Blankies so thank you to donors, volunteers and The Gillettes for hosting us in their beautiful house!

…“And in the same region there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with great fear. And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!” When the angels went away from them into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let us go over to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has made known to us.” And they went with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby lying in a manger. And when they saw it, they made known the saying that had been told them concerning this child. And all who heard it wondered at what the shepherds told them. But Mary treasured up all these things, pondering them in her heart. And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, as it had been told them.”
