At 40, my life looks nothing like I imagined it would.

Five years ago, I left my corporate career and started travelling the world. I've built businesses, experienced success and failure, and learned a lot about myself along the way.

I still don't know exactly what comes next, but I've realised that freedom isn't about having everything figured out. It's about trusting yourself enough to know you'll be okay even when you don't.

I'm still figuring things out, and I'm learning to be okay with that.

Follow along if you want to see where this journey takes me.

“I felt like I was behind. Stressed at work. Living in fear. Struggling to make decisions.”

Ten weeks later, he’s making decisions with confidence, feeling more at peace, and finally trusting himself again.

Real change doesn’t happen by pushing harder. It starts when you slow down long enough to understand what’s really going on beneath the surface.

That’s the work we do inside our program.

The next round is opening soon, but if you’re not ready for that step yet, start by joining our free community. The link is in our bio.

My life looked great on paper. So why was I so unhappy?

For years I thought success would fix how I felt. Then I thought changing my life would. New job. New relationship. New city.

The same feeling followed me everywhere.

It took a one-way flight and losing everything familiar to finally understand. The problem was never out there.

If your life looks good on paper but doesn’t feel good inside, there is nothing wrong with you.

You’re just looking in the wrong place.

My story, slide by slide. 🤍

For years, I thought getting to the next level meant having everything planned out.

My career. My finances. My future.

I believed that if I could just figure out the right strategy, I'd finally feel ready to move forward.

But I've learnt that creating a different life doesn't always require having all the answers.

Here's what I focus on now:

1. I get clear on the direction, not every detail.

I know what kind of life I want to create, but I leave room for things to unfold differently.

2. I make decisions based on where I want to go.

Not just what feels familiar or comfortable.

3. I take action before I feel completely ready.

Some opportunities only become clear once you start moving.

4. I stop trying to control every outcome.

I focus on what I can influence and stay open to unexpected possibilities.

5. I enjoy the life I'm creating along the way.

There's always another milestone. I don't want to spend my life waiting for the next one.

I still have big ambitions.

But I've realised that your next level isn't always about doing more. Sometimes, it's about approaching life differently.

What's one thing you'd like to do differently in your next chapter? by @leightondewitt

I've been travelling a lot since leaving my corporate career in 2022.

And one thing people might not realise is that I didn't always have the confidence to live this way.

For 14 years, I worked in the property industry. I had a stable career, a routine and a path I knew well.

But I wanted more freedom to explore, experience new places and create a life that wasn't built around a traditional 9–5.

Here's what helped me make that shift:

1. I changed my definition of success.

It became less about job titles and more about having choices.

2. I stopped waiting until everything was certain.

I realised I could make thoughtful decisions without knowing exactly how everything would turn out.

3. I started prioritising the life I wanted.

Instead of fitting everything around work, I began thinking about how work could fit into my life.

4. I became more open to different opportunities.

I didn't need to follow the same career path I'd always known.

5. I learnt that freedom doesn't mean having everything figured out.

It means having the ability to make choices that align with what matters to you.

I still have goals. I'm still ambitious.

But now, I'm building a life that gives me the freedom to enjoy the journey, too.

What would you do if you had more freedom?

#LifestyleFreedom #CareerChange #PersonalGrowth #FreedomLifestyle #LifeOnYourTerms by @leightondewitt

You don't have to change your entire life overnight to start creating more freedom.

Here's where I'd begin:
1. Define what freedom means to you.

Is it more time, flexibility, financial security or the ability to travel? Get specific.

2. Stop measuring success by how busy you are.

A packed schedule doesn't necessarily mean you're moving towards the life you want.

3. Create more choices.

Build skills, strengthen your knowledge and explore opportunities that give you greater flexibility.

4. Start making space for the life you want now.

Don't postpone every experience until you've reached your next milestone.

5. Build your next chapter before leaving your current one.

You don't need to make a reckless decision. Small, intentional steps can create meaningful change.

Freedom isn't always about leaving your job. Sometimes, it's about having more choice in how you live.

Follow for more on creating success and freedom on your own terms.

Leaving my corporate career after 14 years wasn’t about giving up on success.

It was about creating a life with more freedom, flexibility and experiences that mattered to me.

I haven’t lost my ambition. I’ve just redefined what success looks like.

What does success look like to you?

#CareerChange #LifestyleFreedom #PersonalGrowth #SuccessOnYourTerms #MensPersonalDevelopment by @leightondewitt

1. You’re proud of what you’ve built, but you’re excited about what’s next.

You’ve achieved things you once dreamed of. And now you’re starting to think about what else might be possible.

2. You’re starting to value freedom as much as success.

You still have big ambitions, but you’re thinking more about how you want to spend your time, where you want to live and who you want to spend it with.

3. You’ve got ideas you keep coming back to.

Maybe it’s starting a business, changing careers or doing something completely different.

You haven’t acted on them yet, but the ideas aren’t going away.

4. Your definition of success is changing.

The things that motivated you five or ten years ago aren’t necessarily the same things that motivate you today.

You’re starting to question what success actually means to you.

5. You want to surround yourself with people who inspire you.

You enjoy conversations about ideas, opportunities and what’s possible.

And you want more people around you who encourage you to think bigger.

6. You’re realising you don’t need to wait for something to go wrong before making a change.

You don’t need to reach breaking point, burn out or become unhappy before deciding to do something different.

You can make that decision right now.

And I think that’s something we don’t talk about enough.

There’s this idea that we should just be grateful for what we have.

And of course, gratitude is important.

But being grateful for what you’ve got doesn’t mean you have to stop wanting more.

You can love your life today and still be excited about creating something different tomorrow.

That’s one of the reasons I created The Abundance Challenge.

5 days to get clearer on what you want, build the confidence to go after it and start creating more opportunities for yourself.

Without adding more work or pressure.

“Just ask for a pay rise.”

Easy advice to give. Not always so easy to follow.

I’ve worked with plenty of men who know exactly what they want, but struggle when it comes to asking for it.

Not because they don’t deserve it.

But because they’re worried about how the conversation might go.

What if they say no?
What if I come across as greedy?
What if they think I’m asking for too much?

And it’s not just about money.

The same thing happens when we want to set a boundary, speak up at work or have a difficult conversation with our partner.

So before you have that conversation, I’d suggest three things.

1. Get clear on what you actually want.

What are you asking for? Be specific.

If you can’t explain it clearly to yourself, it’s going to be difficult to communicate it to someone else.

2. Be honest about what’s making you uncomfortable.

Are you afraid of rejection? Worried about disappointing someone? Concerned about what they’ll think of you?

You don’t have to get rid of that fear. But it helps to understand what’s going on.

3. Take the first step.

Book the meeting. Send the message. Start the conversation.

You can spend weeks thinking about what you want to say, imagining every possible outcome.

But at some point, you have to give yourself permission to ask for what you want.

For years, I made big decisions for a team of 24 people.

Yet some of the hardest conversations were the ones about what I wanted.

And one thing I’ve learnt is that someone saying no doesn’t mean you were wrong to ask.

Trusting yourself to say what you want is where it starts.

If you’re ready to get clearer on what you want, build the confidence to ask for it and start creating more opportunities for yourself, join us for The Abundance Challenge.

You’ve already achieved a lot. What are you ready to create next?

The Abundance Challenge is a five-day experience for ambitious men ready for more clients, income, and opportunities, without adding more pressure.

27–31 October. DM ABUNDANCE for the details. by @leightondewitt

If I could go back to my 30s, here's what I'd do differently.

1. Stop worrying about what everyone thinks.

I spent years making decisions based on how others might react instead of trusting myself.

2. Stop using fear as motivation.

It pushed me to achieve things, but eventually led to burnout.

3. Stop waiting for the perfect moment.

Most of the decisions that changed my life started with taking a chance on myself.

4. Stop tying my worth to my achievements.

Success means very little when you can't enjoy what you've worked for.

5. Stop believing more pressure means more progress.

You can work towards your goals without constantly operating from stress.

6. Stop trying to control every outcome.

Sometimes you have to trust yourself enough to take the next step without knowing exactly how it'll unfold.

7. Stop postponing happiness until the next milestone.

There's more to life than constantly chasing the next achievement.

The biggest lesson?

You don't need to stop being ambitious. You need to change the place you're operating from.

That's what we'll explore inside my 5-Day Abundance Challenge, starting 27 October.

Comment “ABUNDANCE” below and I'll send you the details.

What if you could achieve more success without putting yourself under more pressure?

As ambitious men, we’re used to pushing ourselves.

Setting bigger goals.
Taking on more responsibility.
Always thinking about what’s next.

And that’s probably helped us get to where we are today.

But imagine what becomes possible when you start approaching success with more clarity, confidence and trust in yourself.

When you stop overthinking decisions.
When you start seeing opportunities you’d previously overlooked.
When you take action on things you’ve been putting off.

That’s what we’ll be exploring in my 5-Day Abundance Challenge.

DM me “ABUNDANCE” for the details.
