I will never have the words to describe my first release day. I made my sister get up early to get coffee with me, because I wanted to celebrate but wasn’t planning on anything big because it was a Tuesday. She bought me coffee and a cinnamon roll and took pictures of me with my ebook, since I (still) don’t have physical copies. I walked into work to my station full of balloons and a gift, including pens for signing my book and so many snacks.

That evening, I thought we were going to Aaliyah’s for DWTS. I heard her talking—presumably to herself—as I walked in her apartment. The first thing I saw was the wooden letters of my book title. I hardly had time to process that before 10 of my best friends were jumping out and yelling “surprise,” three of whom drove 1-2 hours each way just to come see me.

The night was full of laughter, yapping, catching up, good food, and the best memories. I got very minimal sleep, didn’t stop shaking til 8:00, and smiled so hard my face hurt. I can’t tell you what it meant to me to spend this day with these girls, and to be loved so much to be surprised. I’ve never felt more blessed; this is a day I will be replaying in my mind for a very, very long time.

I’m a day late on this but HAPPY (belated) RELEASE DAY TO MY FRIEND @alexamooneyauthor !! This is one of the best-written books I’ve ever read. Davian’s redemption story is so beautiful to me, and chapter 33?!! Yes. This is an incredible book and duology that I will never stop yapping about. Go read ASAP!

Interrupting the book release content to remind you no one is a writer without first being a reader! @authornatalyjennings is SUCH a huge inspiration to me, and in true Leila fashion I actually read her second novel, Three Days To Fall In Love, before I read this one, but they are both INCREDIBLE books! Nataly writes with just the sweetest voice, and her characters’ love stories are so precious. I LOVEDDDDD London, Love, & A Little Something Irish, and I think you will, too! Swoon!!

IT IS FINALLY RELEASE DAY FOR THIS INCREDIBLE, INCREDIBLE NOVEL BY MY FRIEND @alyssakburns !!!! If you’ve ever had a conversation with me about this book you know I love it with everything in me. I am a sucker for a situationship book (because we’ve all been there), and this one is such a great one. I’ve told Alyssa many times I think she just modeled Izzie off me, but it’s okay because we love her. And we love Evan, even if we shouldn’t. I could yap ALL day about this book, but how about you just go read it instead? ENJOY… I know you will ;)💜💜
