“Our wedding embodied a modern heirloom approach to celebration: bespoke, artisan-driven, and deeply intentional,” says Emma of their vision. “Every element was created in collaboration with independent makers, from hand-block-printed linens and custom jewelry to couture gowns reimagined as works of art.” The weekend wardrobe also completed the couple’s goal of “conversing with the environment.” Says Emma: “I didn’t want to wear a dress inside a beautiful setting; I wanted to be part of it.” Emma (@bigesmoles) is such a visionary and it was a highlight of the year to document hers and Jeff’s wedding. We are so incredibly excited that Grace and Wes’s celebration was featured on @overthemoon ! Grace and Wes’s wedding weekend was filled with outpouring love, the most genuine joy one could experience and is the reason why I truly love what I do. This couple, their families and everything that we created together made the most incredible and creative event weekend that I have had the pleasure of being a part of. Grace wanted an elegant, simplistic and chic design for her wedding day. Grace was exactly that full of Grace and the truest form of elegance and I am honored to have been a part of her and Wes’s journey. She will forever be my unicorn client. From the incredible florals lining the aisle, the open-air sleek modern black frame tent, floral pathway into the most incredible tent bursting with intriguing and magical florals. The reception tent featured a 40 foot long custom banquet with florals and trees billowing out the tops creating a magical garden for the guests to be seated within. We found the perfect print for their custom linens and sourced each style of chandelier to fit their dream. Every piece of this design was intricately put into place and seeing it day of was nothing short of truly incredible. Thank you to the incredible vendor team that brought this dream to life. Winston’s Merch Store 🐾 🎾 Named after Hannah and Sean’s beloved corgi, this custom built shop welcomed guests with personalized keepsakes from their Newport wedding weekend. Our entire wedding experience was rooted in memories—memories of the past and present, and things we hope to experience in our future” Thank you @overthemoon for featuring one of my absolutely treasured couples. When Evie and I started working together little did we know due to Covid we would get the chance to work together for much longer than planned! I will always treasure our extra time designing together. “Our wedding planner, Sarah Heaney at Leila James Events, had every vendor rebooked within 24 hours for August 12, 2022,”. “The power of an extraordinary planner should never be underestimated!” When 7 year old Evie visited Rosecliff she declared that she would someday get married there. Every design decision we made was purposeful. “Her florals were chosen to resemble the blue hydrangeas outside of Evie’s aunt’s inn on Pelham Street. “Sarah and I built a cohesive concept where the blue hydrangeas would balance the sky mural in Rosecliff, and the white hydrangeas on the terrace would balance the clouds outside. The creative concept—from monograms to linens and vases—was developed around the various shades of blue you see in a New England summer.” To balance the casual, relaxed tone of hydrangeas, they created a dichotomy with gilded glamour: gilded gold accents, textured white and cream linens, tonal blue rentals” As a leader in the Canadian fashion world and GM of @thekitca Evie leaned on friends and designers to help her find the perfect gown from Ines Di Santo paired with heirloom pieces of her own and her mothers veil that was reimagined into a stunning classic bridal masterpiece. Every detail told a deeply meaningful story that guests experienced throughout the evening. Evie and Mike’s wedding was a true luxurious love story. What an honor for Gabrielle and Will’s wedding celebration to be featured on the front page of Style Me Pretty! First, thank you to the amazing vendors who it is always such a joy to create with you all! G&W’s weekend was filled with love, epic celebrations and the freedom to create stunning events focused around guest experience. Thank you @emilymarchpayne and @artisticweddingfilms for capturing the incredible beauty of the day. G&W loved the quintessential coastal New England feel that @castlehillinn exudes nestled on Newport’s coastline. We included special details that hinted to their love for travel and places they had adventured together. The design focused on elevated, lush florals and chic coastal hues. An “Adventure Awaits” escort card wall for G&W that included globes hand-lettered by @wouldntitbelovely with meaningful destinations and “flying” paper airplanes for each guest was such a fun element to design. The locations chosen were significant moments in Gabrielle and Will’s relationship - their engagement in Switzerland, hiking in Patagonia, Argentina or going on safari in Botswana. We wanted the head table to feel as though guests were dining amongst the flowers in an upside down garden. With the amazing team at @stoneblossom we designed a stunning, draping delphinium installation. Our color palette was a perfect blend of coastal blues, earthy greens, and pristine whites. The result was as @stylemepretty says “a laid-back and whimsical atmosphere where guests could relax, have fun, and celebrate!” To accentuate the dance floor and bars we used custom walls by @ryandesignsri adorned with sconces and custom Serena and Lily wallpaper surrounded by lush florals.
