To my teachers, administrators, friends, family, and the Class of 2026,

These past nine years at the Saint Clair R-XIII School District have been so much more than memorable experiences, long nights of schoolwork, and countless hours spent in extracurricular activities. They have been years filled with growth, friendship, and finding a place to truly call home. Saint Clair has given me an environment where I felt supported by my classmates and teachers, and where I was able to discover who I am. It has taught me the true meaning of hard work, perseverance, and dedication. Yet as graduation came to an end, I realized how easy it is to become so focused on reaching the next milestone that you forget to fully appreciate the moments happening right in front of you.

The idea of “using your time wisely” is something I did not fully understand until now. If I could give any advice to those who still have time left in high school, it would be to cherish every opportunity you are given and to be the kind of friend you would want to have yourself. Take risks, step outside of your comfort zone, and do the things others are too afraid to try. Most importantly, choose kindness every day, because you never truly know how much someone may need even the smallest act of compassion.

Every choice we make leaves an impact, and I am incredibly grateful for the people who have shaped mine. Thank you to the teachers who encouraged me, the friends who stood beside me, and the family who continually supported and guided me through every step of this journey. Closing this chapter is bittersweet, but I am proud of how far we have come and excited for what lies ahead. Saint Clair R-XIII School District, thank you for giving me the opportunity to learn, lead, and grow as a Bulldog.
