JUST TWO WORKING MAMAS WHO CASUALLY RAN 15KM ON A RANDOM TUESDAY MORNING!!! 😱🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️🔥

Leisha and I just ran the LONGEST DISTANCE WE HAVE EVER RUN IN OUR LIVES!!!

Our previous longest was 12.2km, once, and then the only other time I did that for me was literally back in high school doing City to Surf! 😂

Never in a million years would I have thought we’d be out here running 15km before getting on with our usual Tuesday of kids, school, work and mum life!

And the funniest part?

WE TALKED THE ENTIREEEEEEE TIME! 😂😂

15km of non-stop chatting, laughing, catching up and somehow setting a new personal best together.

Honestly, it was SO lush! 🥹🤍

Fuelled up before, kept ourselves going along the way and made sure we had our recovery nutrition afterwards. 💪🏼

I’m SO bloody proud of us!!!

Thank you Leisha Cameron, you’re amazing and I couldn’t have asked for a better running buddy! 🥹🫶🏼

Here’s to doing things we once thought were completely out of reach!

How we choose to do life together 💛

2026 ✨ and 8yrs into parenting - we decided it was time to start putting a little more time into ourselves 🫶

With two ridiculously hectic schedules, we want to make the time. Put in the effort. Choose to fuel ourselves and support the work we’re putting in wherever we can.

We decided to fill the cup a little, make “me” a priority and show our kids that looking after yourself is just as important as looking after everyone else 🥹

Doing this together makes it even more special.
And I love the way we do life together 💛

“Sometimes all it takes is one person to remind us that we are capable.” 🤍

This was Leisha’s very first training event, which made experiencing this day beside her even more special.

We spent the day learning, thinking bigger and surrounded by people who encourage dreams, support ideas and help you recognise strengths and potential you may not yet see in yourself.

That afternoon, we swapped the training room for a walk along Surfers Paradise beach, collectively raising over $4,000 for the Herbalife Family Foundation—the most beautiful way to finish the day.

Then it was fireside VIP pre-drinks before transforming into coastal cowgirls and cowboys for the night 🤠🌊

Perth HYROX Women’s Doubles ✅🏁

This wasn’t 13 weeks of having endless time to train.

It was 13 weeks of 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐰𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭.

Two mums with very full lives.

For me — four busy boys in the middle of their own sporting seasons, running a business, starting study again, injuries, life happening in the background… and some really hard personal moments along the way.

For Leisha — working big hours as a flight attendant, raising two kids and juggling family life around shift work.

There were no spare hours magically appearing for either of us. 😂

We just became really intentional.

With our training.
With our recovery.
With what we ate and drank.
With showing up when we said we would.

We didn’t need to train for hours every day.

We needed to make 𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫.

And 13 weeks later, we crossed that finish line together in 𝟏:𝟏𝟔:𝟎𝟕. 🥹🩷

I’m proud of the time.

But I think I’m even prouder of how we got there.

The consistency.
The discipline.
The laughs.
The friendship.
The days one of us carried the energy when the other didn’t have it.

And getting to show our kids that being a mum doesn’t mean the big goals stop.

We can still challenge ourselves.
We can still chase ridiculous ideas. 😂
We can still do epic shit.

And perhaps my favourite part of this whole experience is the bond we built along the way.

Couldn’t have asked for a better partner, Leisha. 🩷

One training block finished.

And apparently we’ve already decided we need another one… 😂☠️🏁

𝐖𝐄 𝐃𝐈𝐃 𝐈𝐓!!! 𝟏:𝟏𝟔:𝟎𝟕 🥹🩷

We were aiming for 1:15 and came so damn close — finishing #39 in our age group — and I could not be prouder of us.

Nothing ever goes perfectly 😂 Leisha battled a stitch, my mouth was literally Sahara-desert dry which made breathing so much harder, and both our legs felt like jelly from the nerves.

But we kept moving. We kept pushing. And we finished STRONG. 🔥

Thank you for all the wonderful support both online and to those who physically came and cheered us on!

And my girl Leisha… FIRST HYROX DONE. 🥹
