Something big is coming.

We have been quietly developing a custom code patching utility that opens doors far beyond traditional calibration work.

This is not map editing.

This is not parameter tweaking.

This is the ability to implement entirely new logic directly into factory ECU software.

Street tuning can get a bone stock C5 Corvette driving better, but it cannot show what the engine is really doing under controlled load. On the dyno we measure actual torque, airflow, fueling, and knock activity through the entire pull. That means safer calibration, repeatable gains, and power you can verify instead of guessing based on road conditions.

If you want results you can trust and consistency you can feel, dyno tuning is the difference between hoping it is right and knowing it is right.

Sac State Hornets Formula SAE stopped by Leistune for dyno testing and data work today.

We even had our first extinguisher moment during static load testing. Nothing serious. A little rubber met an exhaust clamp and made things exciting for a second. Crew reacted fast, extinguisher did its job, and the car is completely fine.

Everyone stayed safe, had fun, and walked away with real world dyno experience you just cannot get in a classroom. Proud to support the Hornets and the next generation of engineers and racers.

This is the Leistune EA825 4.0T shop car.

Intermittent cylinder misfires combined with a high pitched squeal that had nothing to do with belts pulleys or accessories. Both symptoms were caused by the same overlooked failure.

This is an easy one to misdiagnose on the EA825 platform and will send you chasing the wrong components if you are not aware of it.

Diagnosed fixed and documented so others do not have to relearn it the hard way.
