Upcoming Exhibition Jannette MacDonald | ma bit yer bitOpening Event: Friday 10 July 17:00 - 19:00Exhibition Continues: 13 July - 28 August 2026, Monday to Friday 09:30 - 16:3025 North Junction Street, Edinburgh, EH6 6HW------------------------------------Jannette MacDonald is a photographer and printmaker interested in the relationships between time, history, memory and belonging. ‘Memory Places - The Lewis Land Monuments’ was awarded the Leith School of Art Prize at the Society of Scottish Artists Annual Exhibition in 2024. The work in 'ma bit yer bit' is informed by residencies and a Wilhelmina Barns-Graham Travel Scholarship. Jannette lives between Inverness and Orkney. She is in her final year of BA Fine Art at The University of the Highlands and Islands.Proceeds from the exhibition will go to charities Jannette has worked with: @care4calais and @offene_arme by @leithschoolofart

〰️ Did you know that we have a Bursary Scheme? 〰️ We believe in supporting students as much as possible, and this includes financial support. To be considered for a bursary you must first apply and be accepted on a year-long course. Normally the maximum amount awarded is up to 50% of the tuition fees but this can be more in exceptional circumstances. There’s no deadline for submitting your application, but we strongly advise doing this at your earliest convenience as there is a limited amount of funding available. @leithschoolofart end of year exhibition continues today and tomorrow, Sunday 28 June 10.00-16.00 pm.Wonderful to see the work by the Painting students on the walls, alongside students from Art&Design Foundation Dip, Advancing Studio Practice and other year long courses. On the 3Day painting course we had some students returning for a second and 2 for a third year.
