Being a mother is incredible. The love I was poured into this year was such a blessing. I’m in awe of the wonderful humans that I pushed out into this world. I was fearful of being a pregnant teenager with @ajyscott while in high school. But seeing her grow up to be a beautiful, strong, & intelligent woman was worth all my fears. And to my son @juansmalls_ , who is so kind, honorable, and humble. Too kind sometimes, that he makes me want to shank anyone who takes it for granted. (Forgive me Lord, that spirit of @momma.jules3 comes over me sometimes). Motherhood is scary, it’s a wild ride, it’s tears, it’s laughter, it’s making memories, it’s frustrating, it’s love, it’s beautiful and it’s so dope. It goes from “I ain’t one of your little friends”. To BOOM! Now they are! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to make mistakes as we both grow up. I couldn’t imagine life without you both. 😘 by @lejanismalls

Always thinking of ways to have fun and to connect with other women. We as women, mothers, & sisters get super busy, and life be life-ing but making time to connect is really important. Do you have other ideas for group type activities?

Proverbs 18:24 “A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother." Meaning: To cultivate friendships, one must initiate friendliness; this verse contrasts common friends with a truly devoted one. by @lejanismalls

A great way to end a wonderful staycation. If you know me, you know that I love me some blues and some good ol’ jazz. Samara Joy is such an incredible artist! I’m so happy to have been able to see her live. #jazz #samarajoy #mooretheater by @lejanismalls

Something about hanging out with the girls. The freedom to be, to laugh, and be silly, to be pretty, to let our hair down. God did His thing when he created woman didn’t He? by @lejanismalls
