Why does marriage matter?

Because there is something sacred about having one person who knows you beyond your titles… beyond your accomplishments… beyond the version of yourself the world sees.

Someone who has witnessed your highest moments…
and sat with you through your lowest.

Someone who has seen your flaws, your fears, your failures…
and still chooses to stay.

To be deeply known…
To be deeply loved…
To have someone walk beside you through every season of life…

There is no greater journey than building a life with someone who continues choosing you.

Marriage isn’t perfect.

It’s two imperfect people learning, growing, forgiving, healing, and becoming—together.

And when we choose to heal instead of hide…
to forgive instead of hold on…
to communicate instead of remain silent…

We don’t just strengthen a marriage.

We begin breaking unhealthy patterns so the next generation has something different to inherit.

Perhaps that’s one of the greatest gifts marriage can offer.
