Day 1 of Blend Like Butter felt UNREAL🥹❤️

I really do love what I do so much, and getting to share it with a room full of people who have the same exact interest as I do means everything to me.

So I hope I taught you all a thang or two 🤪🤪

But fr thank you to everyone who came, showed up, and trusted me with your time, it means more than you know ❤️

Round ✌🏼 of taking babygirrrrrrl HIGHER & BRIGHTER ✨

In myyyy opinion, when starting on solid hair, that first session will ALWAYS look better if kept dimensional + root melted 🤌🏼 It keeps everything soft, blended & expensive while we build the blonde.

Second session is where we can really start bringing everything higher, brighter, lighter + more golden to where it makes sense and looks and fades CLEAN✨

EVERYBODY LOVES GIGI!!! 🤎

Hands down, this is one of my most requested colors. Clients are constantly showing me her photos for inspo — but here’s the thing: for brunettes wanting to go a little lighter, she’s actually very blonde..and for bright blonde clients wanting to go a litttttle darker, she’s actually dramatically darker😭

She’s a bright, warm, lived-in blonde with a deeper root melt that gives her dimension and makes that face frame and ends POP. A lot of clients show me this inspo asking for “brunette tones,” while still wanting to keep their blonde super high — and that’s where consultation becomes SO important.

Whenever a client brings me this type of inspo, I’ll actually pull up @giannaisabellaaa page and show them her hair in different lighting. We talk about what they’re really seeing in the photo, their starting point, natural color, how much depth they’re comfortable with, and what it will take to get there.

Because if you and your client are seeing two different colors in the same inspo photo, you’re already starting on two different pages.

And believe it or not, this is a HARD color to recreate, even on my own clients. The magic is in balancing that brightness with enough warmth and depth to give it that effortless, lived-in Gigi look.

Been doing her hair for almost 3.5 years, and every. single. time. the goal has been BRIGHT blonde balayage…

But I feel like there’s definitely a shift happening lately… everyone’s wanting warmer, richer, more natural tones, annnndddd I’m here for it!!
