Last fall, we had the dream opportunity to work with bestselling author @carleyfortune and her bestie, @hellomeredithm. A women-owned Canadian business with a clear vision? Truly everything we could hope for in a client. Add in our shared love of books, Taylor Swift, and best friends making magic together, and the rest is history.💞 With the release of Carley’s fifth book (Our Perfect Storm) and the premiere of her first TV adaptation on the horizon (@everyyearafter), her existing brand and website no longer reflected who she had become, or where she was headed next. Together, we created a visual world that feels cinematic, aspirational, and emotionally resonant. Cool blues, warm neutrals, painted textures, and impressionist-inspired details come together to create an identity that feels elevated and editorial, while still warm, approachable, and distinctly Carley. The result is a timeless, flexible brand and digital home designed to support Carley not only as a bestselling author, but as an evolving creative presence across publishing, film, television, and beyond. On August 1st, Lemon Collective somehow turned 9!?!?! 🤯 Sometimes I think of the past versions of our business and feel super embarrassed (If you remember social media 9 years ago.. you understand 😂). But then I look at the journey as a whole and it fills my heart with so much gratitude and pride. Over the last 9 years, the business has changed. But we’ve always maintained our core values of authenticity, transparency, collaboration, and supporting other women in our industry. Because (at least in our opinion) it’s not a good business if it doesn’t also FEEL good. 💛 So if you only take one lesson from our journey over the last 9 years… I hope it’s the value of lifting each other up. In case you haven’t heard... Google Search Console (the tool SEO teams use to track websites) lets you add your Instagram account as its own property. 🎉 This is a hugeeee deal when it comes to ramping up your social media strategy. Has Google been indexing public posts from professional accounts since 2025? Yes. BUT you had no way to see any of it. Now, for the first time, you get the real data: the exact search terms sending people to your posts, clicks, impressions, and which posts are actually ranking in Google. (a total pinch me moment for the girlies who love data 😍) Swipe though to see how you can set it up yourself. I promise it’s super easy and takes 5 minutes or less.
