In need of distraction? Why not listen to our summer single “A Song That No One Can Dance To”.

This swaggering, harmony-laden tribute to musical contrarianism draws inspiration from one of the band’s all- time favourite duos: Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazlewood.

The title tips its hat to the Sinatra/Hazlewood classic Some Velvet Morning. Legend has it that Hazlewood wrote the song after being annoyed by people who told him they liked dancing to his music. His response was a track that shifts time signatures so dramatically it practically dares listeners to keep up

Our song, on the other hand, is quite easy to dance to, aided by some particularly groovy stick work from @jenniferdenitto

Anyway, stop reading about it and give it a listen. It’s available on Bandcamp and all good streaming services (as well as the inevitable dubious one) by @lemonadesin_
