Back in May 2024 l attended a workshop held by Jennie from Jemartem Textiles who taught the wire wrapping method on that day.Had a wonderful day and after that began my own piece.This piece took 9 months to complete and helped during my recovery days from the hip fracture.Finally finished and l included jasper ,wood beads and amethyst.Very happy with the way it turned out.I look at it with memories of those days. #wirewrapping #batik #jemartem.textiles #julia_wright #sun #jasper #woodbeads #fibreart #textileart #textileartdesign taken in Bacchus Marsh, Victoria by @lemonandjasper

My chariots Daisy Daphne and Delores await.Hopefully won’t have to rely on them for too long,and will be up and independent asap.So for now chilling out with @homespunmagazine that my beautiful neighbour @ja9nine83 arranged for me.very lucky to have such wonderful friends,feeling so special.Laughing to myself maybe l will find something else to try ,life is about learning.I think I learnt a big lesson last weekend and will never look at a liquid amber seed the same again. @ja9nine83 @homespunmagazine @injury @nannywheels @lifeslessons by @lemonandjasper
