Thanks to #pleinairpril and #heavypaint I've now found a new comfort zone for painting. Also turning a blind eye to my gouache/coaster set giving me the death stare, I'm covering my ears and going lalalala!

This was last July at #龜山島 #宜蘭 There were these Greece architecture inspired restaurants along the beach. by @lemonikate

This was the #Balloon #Festival in #taitung this #Summer. I loved these balloon shapes and used this as an excuse to practice painting #red.

I've also been learning #blender, it's a ton of fun getting back into #3D again, except the #geometrynodes. Does anyone know a good course on explaining the nodes to artists? I understand the basic, but when the nodes gets really complicated I need a good left brain to right brain translator!

#台東在#暑假有這個#熱氣球嘉年華🎈 ，很值得去一次，如果你不怕小黑蚊的話。

Still keeping up with #heavypaint drawings! Making colors and shapes really makes me happy, whether I get paid doing it or not. This was #ottawa #dowtown last winter.

#Salut9 gallery show is happening right now! Go to https://nucleusportland.com/collections/salut9 and find Kate Liu on page 10, I only have these couple of coasters left!! by @lemonikate

Gouache class starting next month!

International students welcome! Even if you can't participate the class in real time, you still get plenty of feedback and instruction through Discord and video recording, so time zone is not an issue with your learning!

See you in class!

A color study I did for my next gouache coaster. Putting it here just in case the coaster didn't turn out well haha.
