Back when we started, @camp.yoshi was one of the few kinfolk in the industry we could look to for guidance and inspiration — designing picturesque excursions from the PNW and beyond, but with NYC still in their blood. It took a couple years for us to finally collab, in what felt like a full circle moment on our final summer hike, as we ate pan-seared salmon, roasted mushrooms and grilled chicken over congee rice porridge, taking in the views from Lake Canopus, full from the hike led by @avaangle19 and her team.

Thanks to @rashadfrazier_ for paving a path in the industry for all these years, to @jah_holla for getting our muscles moving (and bringing the Harlem crew), and the BK squad for giving us a postcard finish to our summer hiking season.

🍁 And now… let the Fall Hikeish season commence:

A Wedding in the World’s Borough 🌐🩵

Thank you Sophie & Yogi for entrusting me to document your incredible Indian-Cambodian wedding! This was my first multi-day wedding coverage, my first time at an Indian wedding, and my first time at a Cambodian wedding! I learned so much about these rich cultural traditions and most importantly how we really have a lot of shared commonalities, one being the cultural DRIP is immaculate 💎😮‍💨 Only in Queens baby ✨

¡Feliz Quinceañera 🎂 @wordupbooks ! Last week was the 15th anniversary celebration of the much beloved community bookshop in Washington Heights, whose mission is to provide accessibility to books for everyone! I was honored to operate the themed photo station (of course teehee 👑 ) and provided free portraits to our uptown peeps 🤍 It was also wonderful to have bridged my Queens & Uptown circles by having my pals @manhatitlan come through to dance and teach us some cutie moves to one of their routines ✨

our annual plant swap 🌱—it was a beautiful day I’ll remember forever!
Grateful to have it captured by the amazing @lemonmonn 💜💜
Stay tuned for more of her photos to come! 📷
All from amazing photographer @lemonmonn who also put together this video! 💜💜💜
When I started Bliss Vintage & Handmade, I wanted to create a space for creativity, community, and connection. Seeing the sidewalk filled with so many loving, wonderful people, hugs, and laughter reminds me why I do this every single day.
To everyone who came out, swapped a plant, left a sweet love note for Bliss, or has supported us over the last 8 years: THANK YOU. Sunnyside, you have my whole heart. 💕
Cheers to many more years of vintage, handmade, and pure bliss! 🥂✨

Also! The window is finally open!
More post coming on that! Hope you’ll love it!
Love,
Violet 💜
