I faced gen ai slop every 10-15 minutes of walking, every time hoping it was the last, until I rushed through in fear of seeing more. They were showcased like any other art among works of skilled artists and masters.

@seoulartshow was supposed to be a Christmas treat to myself, this is the first time I took a break during the holidays after over a decade of hustling to survive. But instead, it made me lose sleep and feel an indescribable amount of pain.

This show is put together by many in power, including established artists, gallery owners, CEOs, and even professors at top universities. I don't think many people can understand what normalization of ai slop at a national scale feels like to an artist...

Of course I will turn this into fuel to build Artist Ally, I will do my part and make an impact no matter how small. But for now, time to pick up my broken pieces and head into the new year. Hang in there everyone 🥲🙏 taken in Coex Convention & Exhibition Center by @lemons.etc

😸 Houtong Cat Village (猴硐貓村) in New Taipei, Taiwan.

All the cats were super friendly! The locals provided specific foods we could purchase, it was 3 treats for 100 NTD (~$3 USD). The experience was beautiful and fun 🥰

I actually saw it on the map randomly while looking at the route to Jiufen, they were only 30 min bus away, definitely worth the stop! taken in Houtong Cat Village by @lemons.etc

My pigeon designs won a contest by @thebench_game 🥺 "The Artist" pigeon will be appearing in the game later 🤯🤯🤯 whoaaaaa

It's been a crazy few months with work and my art non-profit, I contemplated not drawing these until literally the last day before deadline 🥲 So glad I didn't turn down opportunity to draw pigeons, would've been soo sad!

Celebrating with Peking duck because we got the Spanish visa - again 🤣🎉 had to get new one because of work~

The Chinese food scene here is willlldd, so many authentic restaurants are popping up near our area on top of the many great places already in Barcelona.

Feeling very lucky to enjoy some of the best Chinese food I've had (outside of Asia ofc) and be able to taste many childhood favs, in Spain of all places 🤣

We just heard back from the artists that received last month's grant and how much it helped 😭 Still doesn't feel real that I could start this!!

Views from Bermeo 🌊 Treated myself this trip to celebrate my first birthday in Spain 🥳🌳🏖️☀️

The destination seemed quite random at the time of booking, but now I think I missed the small town lifestyle and being surrounded by vast nature 🥲 I had those experiences when I was growing up, but they completely disappeared from my adult life, for over a decade!

It's only been 2 days and Bermeo has already given me many new experiences and beautiful moments, very grateful to be here 💛

Our first van camping trip 🥰 We visited the town of Castelldefels, just 30 min from Barcelona!

The dogs had the most outdoor time per day everrr and soaked in so much sun ☀️ We also had a great time reconnecting with nature and away from all of our many many screens~

This might be the closest I can get to camping within my comfort zone, and I would definitely stay for longer 😁

My first handpoke tattoo and my first tattoo in Spain 😍 The tattoo artist is @la.lordi - so skilled and has such cute designs!

This is the least painful tattoo I've ever had, the speed wasn't much slower (this can vary depending on artist), and healing was no pain since day 1! Honestly pretty wild and I'm so glad I finally gave it a try 🥰
