Sunset & tulips 🌷🌅

With the tulips in full bloom and perfectly clear skies i couldn't wish for a better sunset.

I'v been going to the same tulip area for a couple years now, and it never disappoints.

All the different kind of tulip colors and the different shades of the sunset made it so nice to photograph.

Let me know what your favourite picture is !

Thanks to @jokkel_wokkel for helping out and going with me! 🫡

🌷🌅✨️

Milkyway in the Balkan ✨️

I visited the Balkan and its night sky for the first time back in 2024. Since then i learned a lot about (landscape) astrofotography, but i still have a lot to learn.
Anyway, this year i visited Bosnia and Herzegovina, we drove up to the Blidinje National Park plateau for some dark skies, unfortunately it was cloudy due to the wildfires in the area. So i was only able to take my foreground shots. So yes, i cheated a little bit by taking the star shots in a different place a few days later.
However, I am very happy with the result, it took a lot of re-edits to get it here.

Let me know what you think!

Foreground: 1 shot of 2 minutes exposure
Stars: 8 shots of 3 minutes exposures stacked

A calm peaceful Croatian morning at our campsite at @campbarinica , the water was like glass, the sun was shining and the beautiful blue ocean at the doorstep of our tent. Such a special place ! 🏕✨️

(Little behind the scenes)
Because of the perfect calm ocean with zero wind, my drone decided to completely ignore me and my controls and just land in the ocean and ruining the peaceful calm morning 😅🫣 my girlfriend quickly grabbed it out of the water, took the battery out, rinsed it with fresh water and later with alcohol and now its just a waiting game and fingers crossed it survived this little dip in the ocean, i must admid, getting in a sea that looked like that is indeed very tempting.

Will the drone survive?

I follow Google Maps always and everywhere with 100% complete confidence 🫡😂

Its part of the adventure, the only problem is that i drive a little red Suzuki Alto, thats absolutely not made for this. 🚗🫱🏻‍🫲🏼🇧🇦

Solar Eclipse 2026 from the Netherlands! 🌘

It was the first time ever I saw (and photographed) a solar eclipse!
It was a very special experience, everything went silent for a few moments, the light dimmed after it brightened again and than the sun went down.
A special moment i shared with some special guys.

From my position in the Netherlands the moon covered the sun for about 90%, I yet have to experience a full 100% totality eclipse, excited for when that day comes. 🤞🏻
