School has started, and you know what time it is! 😋 Sookie (plus Rory and Winnie) dump! As well as a special tribute.

I don’t expect any of you to read all this, but for those who do—the last slide is a picture of Shyla. Shyla was my first real experience with a household pet, and she was also my mom’s best friend. She was the sweetest dog, and fittingly, very shy. I don’t have many photos of her. In fact, that last slide is the only one. I always felt it would have been disrespectful to take pictures of her in her last few months with us. And months before her health began to decline, I wrote a poem about the impact of losing a dog. I never imagined that poem would become my reality so quickly. I still think about it often, how the house feels a little emptier without her, how her food and water bowls stay untouched, how her bed remains empty. When I heard we were putting her down, it felt unreal. It felt like just the day before, I was tossing her favorite fox toy for her to chase. Losing her has taught me not to take our pets for granted. Especially when they grow older, or when a new animal comes into our lives. Because you never truly know how much time you have left with them. by @lena___rem

It’s January 14, and yes, I know I’m late to this—but I still wanted to take a moment to reflect on 2024. The year flew by, and now 2025 is here before we even had time to catch our breath. Looking back, I’m so thankful for everything that happened and for the memories I got to share with my friends and family.

I’ve put together a few of my favorite photos and moments from the past year. Instagram only allows 10, so I couldn’t include everything (or everyone), but I hope these capture just a little bit of the joy, love, and laughter 2024 brought into my life.

To everyone—whether we talk every day or only once in a while—thank you for being part of my story. I’ll forever cherish the silly, the serious, and everything in between. I’m grateful for the growth and memories I’ve found alongside all of you.
