My resolution? To develop friendships that encourage me to be my most vulnerable, silliest self and get them to play with me in sub freezing temps.

In the past I have found it hard to be fully open with people, especially when I'm in a "host" role. I find it easier if I have no responsibility. I am softening the hard edges of that compartmentalization.

🌟Soft leadership involves doing the behind the scenes logistics, and then taking a step back for others to explore, share and connect.

A big part of this is clearly expressing my needs so that I can also enjoy the experience. If others are unavailable to help, THEN I can assume a leadership role.

This leaves space for me to explore who I am as part of a collective, able to soften and expand while loosening the desire to control. It also gives others the ability to lead and take on responsibility rather than feeling i am taking it all on. by @lenaistom

Meet the artist - @mutul_ from Barcelona 🇪🇸
Born in 1990 in a small town on the island of Mallorca, Mateu, artistically called Mutul, since he was a child he had the opportunity to manipulate vinyl records and different musical instruments of his father.
Attracted by hip hop from his earliest adolescence, his interest in electronic music was cultivated when he decided to buy two turntables and a mixer after listening to the album of one of his idols, Richie Hawtin - Closer. In those years he starts using music production software, something that makes him thinking about creating his own music.
Mateu decides to settle in Barcelona. There he began his music production studies and builds his own home studio with different virtual instruments and his first digital synthesizer, Yamaha PSR - 22, with which he decided to use to finish his first releases and give his sound a unique authenticity.
Mutul became fascinated with art in multiple forms and his music developed a more structured and personal groove, with a lens on afro percussion and experimentation with his own vocals during production and composing phases. Eight years in the studio have progressively resulted in a wealth of releases of leading deep and progressive house labels alongside globally established artists within the scene.
Mutul’s style today is between Dub and Deep House and actually going to more tribal and percussive as well as Afro and Downtempo. taken in New York, New York by @lenaistom

Concept creation process sneak peak with @oliverwonka. I’m not English native speaker or good in creative writing so I asked my really good friend to help out. Here is what we’ve got: Emotionally Unavailable is a monthly community music series offering a safe space for introverts to connect and express themselves without pressure. Inspired by the nautilus shell, it symbolizes gradual transformation and emerging from one’s protective layers. In an atmosphere that embraces emotional unavailability, the series creates a space for platonic, organic connections—like a “cult of quiet intimacy.” The music serves as a medium for personal reflection, allowing participants to come out of their shells and find comfort in shared, subtle energy. It’s a refuge for authentic emotional expression and quiet connection.
