Après quatre années de recherches, je suis heureux de vous inviter au vernissage de mon exposition « From Morn to Midnight » le jeudi 24 septembre 2026 à partir de 18h00 au 17 rue Chapon, 75003 Paris. 👽📰🍾

Après avoir remis le nez dans la bande-dessinée de mon enfance, j’ai redécouvert le plaisir, renouvelé peut-être ici de se raconter des histoires par l’image et par les moyens qu’autorisent la photographie, le set-design et la lumière.

Cette exposition fut pensée comme un livre au départ, on peut l’envisager comme un récit imagé, celui d’un monde, de quelque part à cheval entre ici et ailleurs.

Son titre, From Morn to Midnight est emprunté au film expressionniste allemand de Karlheinz Martin (1920). Les premiers pas d’un cinéma aux lumières et aux décors parfois grotesques, souvent baroques.
L’exposition et ce livre d’images, tout comme sa trame narrative, y font référence, rejouant cet aspect théâtral par l’attention portée aux lumières et la fabrication de scènes parfois rudimentaires.

Je serai ravi de partager ce moment avec vous ! 👽🛸🍾
