My body is an archive.
It is history, memory, and movement woven into flesh.

I carry the rhythm and resistance of the African Diaspora, shaped by the Atlantic crossing and rebuilt on American soil through brilliance, survival, creativity, and faith. I also carry the lineage of Italian family who came here in the 1920s seeking new life, opportunity, and belonging. Two migrations. Two histories. Two worlds meeting inside one body. #fisher #destefano

Through my moves the story of America that is layered and complex. It is built from oceans crossed, cultures blended, traditions carried, and futures imagined. My body remembers ancestors who endured the unimaginable, and it remembers those who arrived by choice and with hope. That intersection is not contradiction. It is truth. It is America.

My body is not just flesh. It is knowledge, rhythm, and ancestry. It is testimony. It is innovation. It is the living proof of survival, brilliance, and legacy. What I move with did not begin with me and it will not end with me. That is PURPOSE.

When I dance, I move with the weight of history and the light of possibility. Every line, every extension, every breath carries the voices that shaped me. My body is trained through technique, but it is also shaped by legacy, culture, struggle, joy, and migration. My movement is proof of everything that fought to exist so I could stand here.

I am the archive and I am the horizon.
Movement is my testimony.
This body holds power.
