Looking for good premium quality bbq in the heart of Myeondong? Come check it @hansikwangbijib in Myeondong searching Hanwoo beef which is equivalent to Wagyu beef in Japan. Marbling goodness piece of beef well bbq by the staff in house that go so well with Banchan and beer. I love Cass for the light and crisp even when the weather is chilly outside.

A little piece of Japan has arrived in Tanjong Pagar.

A-Price Singapore, the first overseas outlet by TOHO Singapore, has officially opened its doors, bringing its philosophy of “contributing to society through food” to Singapore. Originally created as a cash-and-carry store serving the F&B industry, A-Price is now open to the public, giving everyone access to quality Japanese products at surprisingly competitive prices.

Think 1kg Japanese mayonnaise for just $8.80, fresh herbs from $2 per pack, and authentic Japanese-made creamy ice cream at $23 for a 2-litre tub. The Kyoto Grape flavour was an instant favourite — rich, creamy, and packed with fruity sweetness.

Coffee lovers can also look forward to TOHO Coffee, making its Singapore debut. Expect a robust and aromatic cup crafted from carefully selected beans, a taste familiar to many in Japan.

Beyond pantry essentials, you’ll also find live seafood, sashimi-grade seafood, frozen products, sauces, seasonings, and ingredients commonly used by restaurants and chefs.

Whether you’re a home cook, a Japanese food enthusiast, or simply love finding a good deal, A-Price feels like a hidden gem where authentic Japanese ingredients are more accessible than ever.

Grand Opening on 1 July 2026.

Stepping into The Public Izakaya at 100AM honestly felt like being transported straight to a late-night izakaya in Japan. The warm lighting, cosy wooden interior and lively atmosphere give off such authentic Japanese supper vibes, making it the perfect place to wind down after work with good food and cold beer.

We had a spread of their signature dishes including the addictive cabbage miso, crispy agedashi tofu, perfectly grilled fish and an impressive selection of premium skewers. From juicy chicken balls and smoky grilled pork collar to tender chicken skewers and beautifully grilled wagyu beef, every item was packed with flavour and done with quality ingredients. The smoky umami flavours from the charcoal grilling paired insanely well with beer, making every bite even more satisfying. Definitely one of those spots where you keep ordering “just one more skewer”.

My 10-minute beauty reset — from the outside in.

Newly launched by @vickyenfrance_official, the Oroji Bio Cellulose 10-Minute Reset Mask is more than just a quick skincare pick-me-up. What makes the Vicky En France beauty regime unique is its use of eggshell membrane in both the Oroji mask and C’est Le Berry Collagen Jelly — bringing the same beauty-focused ingredient into both my skincare and wellness ritual.

I started with the Oroji Bio Cellulose Mask, which hugs closely to the skin and gives an instant cooling, refreshing sensation. While I had the mask on, I enjoyed C’est Le Berry Collagen Jelly — making those 10 minutes my little beauty ritual from the outside in.

The idea of combining topical skincare with an ingestible beauty jelly makes the experience feel much more holistic. The eggshell membrane featured in both products is what sets this regime apart, creating a unique pairing rather than simply using two separate beauty products.

After 10 minutes, my skin felt refreshed, hydrated and pampered — while the collagen jelly turned my quick skincare routine into a little wellness treat.

I love beauty rituals that don’t need to take up half my day. Just 10 minutes, one mask, one collagen jelly and a little time for myself.

Check them out @vickyenfrance_official and purchase them today!

Remember TIAP TIAP that presented the best of Peranankan desserts such as Pandan Chiffon Cake drizzled with Gula Melaka sauce, and Ondeh Ondeh cake? Where they have a physical shop at East Coast Road?

Now they have another outlet in the heart of Orchard Road!! Located inside the newly opened Food Opera, this time round, you don’t have to buy the whole cake, they are selling slices of their top selling cakes so that you can purchase varieties to try them out.

Highly recommending the Pandan Chiffon and Ondeh Ondeh cake. Do check them out!

Looking for Thai food with a view?

Located right along the Chao Phraya River, directly opposite ICONSIAM, High Tide Eatery & Bar is one of those spots where the setting is just as memorable as the food.

Expect premium Thai dishes served against a beautiful riverside backdrop, with the gentle breeze and panoramic views making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Come around sunset and watch Bangkok transform as the sky changes colours and ICONSIAM lights up across the river.

Among the dishes I tried, the Wagyu Beef Green Curry was a standout. The beef was incredibly tender and juicy, soaking up the rich, aromatic curry beautifully.

And don’t miss the Pork Knuckle — wonderfully crispy skin on the outside, with meat that was exceptionally tender and soft inside. Every bite was worth it!

A great spot to unwind, enjoy authentic Thai flavours and simply take in the beauty of the Chao Phraya.

Just across from Chatuchak Weekend Market is a dining spot you might easily walk past — @madam.liew

Located near BTS Mo Chit, this rustic coffee-house-style restaurant brings together something you don’t often see under one roof — Thai, Japanese AND Western cuisine!

The food is comforting, familiar and satisfying, making this a great spot when everyone in the group is craving something different. One wants Thai, another Japanese, someone else is in the mood for Western… no need to compromise!

What makes Madam Liew worth the detour? It’s the kind of place where you can escape the heat and crowds of Chatuchak, settle into a relaxed rustic setting, and enjoy a proper meal without the usual tourist-area prices.

Reasonable prices, generous choices and comforting food — a surprisingly good find right opposite one of Bangkok’s busiest attractions.

Art you can wear.

Discovering @wolfandbyrd, a Singaporean-owned fashion brand where art meets fashion in the most beautiful way.

What makes the brand special is the story behind every scarf — the designer @eyeofsato transforms her own art pieces into wearable designs, turning each scarf into a little piece of art you can carry with you.

I love how the prints feel artistic yet effortless, adding personality to an everyday outfit. Whether draped around your neck, tied on your bag or styled as an accessory, each piece brings a touch of individuality.

A Singaporean brand with a creative soul — where art isn’t just displayed, but worn.

If you’re craving authentic South Italian flavours with a beautiful dining setting, Sospiri.sg is one to put on your list.

Tucked away on the 7th floor of IOI Central Boulevard Tower, Sospiri offers both an indoor dining space and an outdoor area where you can enjoy drinks and snacks.

I came for the full dining experience — and it was quite a feast!

We started with their housemade bread served with extra virgin olive oil sourced from a small farm in Puglia. Fragrant, with rosemary notes and a hint of spiciness.

For antipasti, we had the Battuta di Tonno, fresh, delicate and clean-tasting, followed by my personal favourite, Mammole Gratinate. The artichokes were buttery, creamy and packed with truffle flavour — comforting without being too heavy. A great choice for vegetarians too!

For pasta, the Chitarra Cacio e Pepe al Tartufo was wonderfully creamy with generous truffle flavours. Very rich and indulgent, so definitely one to share. The Tagliolini Agli Scampi was another standout, featuring sashimi-grade scampi with a naturally sweet seafood flavour running through the sauce.

The mains continued to impress. The Picchiapo di Guancia featured incredibly tender beef cheek that practically melted in the mouth, paired with silky truffle mashed potatoes — such a perfect combination. The Baccala alla Siciliana was simply fresh, delicate goodness, allowing the cod to shine.

And of course, dessert! The Tiramisu and Crema Catalana con le Zeppole rounded off the meal beautifully.

They also have a wide selection of wines, spirits and cocktails to pair with the food. This time round, I went for their cocktails — a lovely way to complement the evening.

One thing to note — the portions here are generous, and honestly, almost every dish is made for sharing. Perfect for a leisurely dinner with friends or family.

If South Italian cuisine is your thing, Sospiri is definitely a destination worth making the trip for. taken in Sospiri by @lencoxvcfl

Those who knows me well enough will know I don’t really eat mutton due to the gamy taste.

My recent trip to Inner Mongolia and Shanxi gave me the opportunity to try out this poultry as they are fed from the vast grassland and mineral water. Meat will be tender and no gaminess at all. So I gave it a shot and true and behold…. They are one of the nicest I ever tried. We had mutton, pork and beef. Guess what, they are ranked 1, 2 and 3 respectively! This restaurant that we visited twice during the trip is one that is highly recommended. Located just next to our hotel - Hilton Garden Datong. So if you are there, you got to check this out.

If you remember, I visited Im Jai by Pun Im some time back, owned by Vincent Pang, who honed his culinary skills at Le Cordon Bleu Dusit and spent years working in Michelin-starred restaurants in Thailand. Now, he has brought his culinary creations to the East with his latest venture — IM QALB by PUN IM! ❤️

Specialising in Southern Thai cuisine infused with Malay ingredients, IM QALB creates unique fusion dishes with Michelin-level finesse, yet at surprisingly affordable prices. Muslim-friendly and offering more than 70 dishes, there’s plenty to explore — including some favourites from their earlier Isan-focused restaurant.

Easties, this is definitely a Thai restaurant you need to put on your must-try list!

🍳 Golden Crab Tahu Kai Jeow — the best of Thai crab omelette meets Malay Tahu Telur, topped with Kecap Manis and their secret egg-yolk sauce. Take it in one mouthful for the full explosion of flavours!

Soft Shell Crab with Curry Powder — generous, crispy and packed with flavour.

Stir-Fried Squid with Black Ink Sauce — perhaps not the prettiest dish, but tangy, tender and wonderfully aromatic from the kaffir lime leaves.

Petai with Wild-Caught Tiger Prawns — my personal favourite! Spicy, tangy and loaded with huge, fresh prawns.

For drinks, I loved the Rose Tea with Lychee Smoothie, while the Rose Milk Tea with Cream Cheese Foam offers an interesting sweet-and-savoury combination.

And yes, you can also get the trendy Thai Banana Fritter here — add vanilla ice cream and it’s even better!

IM QALB is a new East-side gem worth discovering. If you love Thai food, this one deserves a visit!❤️
