On National Tradie Day, we're celebrating the people building Australia's future, and the pathways helping more people get started in the industry 👷🏻‍♀️

Through Lendlease's Tradie Bootcamp, delivered in partnership with CSQ - Construction Skills Queensland and Empowered Women In Trades (EWIT) Group Australia, 13 women recently gained a first-hand experience of life on a construction site.

Hosted at the Brisbane Airport project, where Lendlease is delivering major construction upgrades, participants gained practical experience on site, completing industry training, engaging directly with project teams and industry professionals, exploring different career pathways within the construction sector, and getting a behind-the-scenes look at one of Queensland's largest infrastructure environments.

The program is designed to help break down barriers to entering the construction industry, while supporting Australia's next generation of construction professionals.

The new ANZAC Hall and Atrium, delivered by Lendlease Construction for the Australian War Memorial, is a shining example of heritage integration and engineering prowess.

In this project of true national significance, the Lendlease team have delivered one of the most complex and technically ambitious public buildings ever constructed in Australia.

Designed to respectfully expand the Australian War Memorial’s heritage precinct, the project integrates advanced engineering with masterful craftsmanship.

Overcoming what the judges described as "every possible element of difficulty", the Glasshouse Theatre at Queensland Performing Arts Centre has been recognised as Project of the Year at the Master Builders Queensland 2026 Housing & Construction Awards.

As construction partner, we delivered the project through five years of ambitious planning and construction.

From the rippled glass façade to the complex concrete, precast and steel superstructure supporting the auditorium and foyer spaces, the project demanded innovation, technical expertise and collaboration at every stage.

Fourteen years in the making, 'Monuments for Fishes' by Australian artist Mikala Dwyer has been unveiled in Watermans Cove, Barangaroo.

This extraordinary floating and kinetic artwork features five sculptural forms rising 23 metres above sea level, designed to move with the tides, winds and currents of Sydney Harbour.

Inspired by traditional fishing floats, the work honours the Indigenous fisherwomen who fished in the cove long before colonisation.

This final commission completes the Barangaroo public art program, which we delivered in partnership with Infrastructure NSW.
