Stand up and Slow Jams debut at the legendary @bluenotelosangeles . This is the beginning of an era. If you were there you were a witness. This night was truly magic. I’m so honored to be part of such a beautiful community and to be able to put my 2 favorite worlds into one space and have my favorite comedians and favorite musician in one… I mean come on. This was just an idea between @iamdrescot and I and it’s been beautiful to see it come to life. This is one of many to come yall don’t want to miss this trust.

The bestie @wilfredburr always coming through and blessing the crowd
This night might’ve been my favorite set yet.

We had Sold out room full of beautiful people. Thank you to everyone involved; Comics, musicians, everyone at @bluenotelosangeles staff, management, security etc.

Life been Life-ing
But put some early 90s - early 2000s R&B or old school reggaeton and I am full on music video mentality.

This got me in my feels. This was for the incredible show Stand Up and Slow Jams a new branch of @yerrrlywood.productions If you know me you know my goal has always been to put on shows that comics WANT to do; not just a “spot” instead … “I’m doing Leni’s show” . Seeing the comics love it’s why I started doing this. For some people they just produce to produce or it’s just a show. I actually like really care, and really am so specific with who I book. But if you know me you know this.
@justinmartindale @shapellacey this means the world to me. Thank you SO MUCH for such kind words. Love you both so much!

Just a selfie taken by @jonstewart where I fangirled hardcore and acted chill for just the first 5 minutes. A moment and conversation I’ll never forget and so grateful to @davechappelle for continuing to make these moments happen for me and so many others
