Hi! I feel like I have some new faces here and wanted to reintroduce myself! I’m Chelsea and I am the maker behind Leni’s Bears! I started this business while on Mat leave with my now 15 month old daughter Leni as a solution to the clothing dilemma I imagine all parents must face - they grow out of them so fast!! And yet there were pieces I just couldn’t bear to part with and I didn’t want the clothes to sit in storage so I made the first Leni’s Bear and here we are!

A little about me: I am a Marriage and Family Therapist by day and am passionate about building connections and fostering healthy relationships to support happy families. I moved to Vancouver 8 years ago after living overseas in Dubai for four years. Fun fact I’ve travelled to 97 countries (and counting)! My love of sewing started watching my mom when I was a kid, she hand sewed all our Halloween costumes. My first project was a pair of pyjama pants (they had cows on them 🐄) and I actually won a fashion award in high school for my sewing projects 🥇

I have loved connecting with parents to make their special memories into unique keepsakes. Each bear is truly a labour of love from the moment I receive the clothes, hear the story of each favourite outfit, place and cut each piece to highlight special pieces and stitch each seam with the care of a mother knowing these bears will withstand little hands and big hugs for generations 🌳

From too small to wear to….memory penguin! 🐧

A custom order for the mama behind@wobblingyogi_Canada who teaches us to embrace the wobbles of motherhood and bring our littles to the mat to move, connect and ground. 🧘

This little guy will be entertaining all the babies in class with his little tags and crinkly arms and feet.

If your precious clothes are sitting in storage waiting for the chance to make new memories, you’re in the right place!

Here’s how it works:
1. Select your keepsake (bear, bunny or blanket)
2. Choose your clothes (8-12 for animals, 20+ for blankets)
3. DM or visit link in bio to start your order by completing the order request form
4. Select any add ons (embroidery, weighted keepsake, pouch for mama)
5. Select drop off, meet up or mail to get the clothes from you to me
6. Once I receive the clothes you can make payment by e transfer or cash
7. The sewing magic begins. Your items are carefully placed, cut and stitched together into your custom keepsake
8. Receive your finished keepsake in 3-6 weeks
9. Hold, hug and hand down the precious memories of your baby’s firsts 🥺🥰🧸
