Grief doesn’t leave us.
But some places teach us how to carry it.
In SURROUNDED BY SEA, a woman returns to a small windswept island on the Danish coast, a place of silence, shifting skies and tidal memory.
Based on a poem, the film unfolds as a visual meditation on loss, landscape and the quiet power of presence.
Through fragments of landscape, sea, and memory, it explores how certain places can hold us, when words no longer can. taken in Schauburg Cinerama - Kino & Theater by @leniwesselman

What I do when I feel blue. Playing with Frau Müller and a guy called Paul for some friends & family over all my devices. Maybe weird but thats ok - being happy is healthy. 🤟🏻🦕*There's a wall between us two - I follow shadows on the wall, waiting for the next skype call* Ihr seid toll #susemarquardtcasting #anjadihrbergcasting #simonebärcasting #wirspielenzusammen #machtmit #unitedweact #spreadtogetherness #lenisingtmal
