Happy birthday to an ICON. 🤎✨

My Jesus year. 33. and genuinely proud of the woman I am becoming.

This past year has stretched me, humbled me, and forced me to grow in ways I did not expect. I have been learning to put myself back on my own priority list, to stand up for myself, to protect my peace, and, finally 😂, to understand what boundaries actually look like in real life.

I am learning that choosing myself does not mean I love anyone else less. It means I am no longer abandoning myself to keep everyone else comfortable.

This year has looked like motherhood, nursing school, long days, hard conversations, difficult decisions, healing, rebuilding, unlearning, and becoming. There have been moments that made me question so much, but through every one of them, God has continued to remind me who I am and, more importantly, whose I am.

And because I know whose I am, I know my future is bright.

My destiny is not defined by what happens around me, what I lose, what changes, or who chooses to stay. My Father is not of this world, and my heavenly inheritance is greater than anything this life could ever give me.

I am grateful for every person I have met, every memory created, and every lesson carried into my life. I am also learning to accept that not everyone, every relationship, every opportunity, or every version of myself is meant to follow me into the next season.

Some people stay.
Some teach.
Some redirect you.
Some simply remind you of who you are becoming.

And I am learning not to force what God may be asking me to release.

At 33, I am praying for the grace to discern thoughtfully, build intentionally, love without losing myself, walk boldly in what God has called me to, and finish every season well.

There is still so much ahead of me.

And for the first time in a long time, I am not afraid of what comes next.

I know who holds it. 🤎✨

On a serious note though… A TIME WAS HAD! 😂

I love a good challenging workout, I just wasn’t ready!! I really thought Pilates was cutesy. I even showed up with a FULL FACE of makeup 😭😂

Do you have a family tradition? one you grew up with or one you’re creating with your own family? 🤍

For us, it’s brunch after church. Some of my favorite childhood memories are Sunday mornings after church.. when my dad would take us to the American supermarket to pick out a toy, candy, or whatever little treat we wanted. Now I get to create those little moments with my own family. 🥹

This week, our tradition got an upgrade at “Sundays on the Boardwalk” at @okanaresort! Every Sunday from 11–3 through October 25, there are rotating local vendors, live music, food, cocktails, wellness & more. And you don’t have to be a resort guest or have a day pass to attend!

Oklahoma locals: bring your ID for 10% off food at participating Boardwalk restaurants! 🤍

Delulu is the only solulu. 😂🎬🍿

Some days are hard, but choosing to completely reinvent my life has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Changing careers in my 30s, going back to school, raising two babies, and chasing a dream that feels impossible on some days… whew. 😅

To my fellow delulu girlies chasing the life they dream about… I hope you never stop. 🤍

The One thing no one can ever take away from us is our education, knowledge, and the courage it took to bet on ourselves.

And for those doing it while raising tiny humans… I am saying a prayer for us all😂🫶
