Goals from an indie author.✍️ Here’s some transparency for you! A lot of people ask me how my Christmas book does in the off-season. (Jan-Sept). And truthfully, I had no idea what to expect. I thought that people would instantly stop reading once January hit and not even look at my book until this season started up. But I was wrong! The sales for my Christmas book have been pretty steady through this off-season. Sales equaling about half of what I got last Christmas season. Which is actually amazing. But I only have last year to compare with. So, even though October is not finished yet here are my comparative stats from October ‘25 to October ‘26: ✨ 5x more KENP than last October ✨ 3x more physical sales and the numbers keep going up! I only can thank y’all for reading my sweet cozy Christmas fantasy! It’s been a real treat watching the numbers go up! I’m excited to see what the rest of the season brings. 🧝🏻‍♂️🎄 So far this year, I produced a gorgeous, special edition, launched a successful Kickstarter, ordered a print run from overseas, had an audiobook produced, and finished drafting book 2! Next year I have similar goals. I will release Springtime with the Elf King March 3, 2027, perhaps produce another special edition that matches the first book, launch a Kickstarter for that, perhaps produce an audiobook? And will certainly be writing and finishing my new project. I can’t wait to see how these next few months go! As always, thank you for your support! I couldn’t do this without you! 😊 #indieauthor #cozyfantasybooks #cozyfantasyromance #nospiceromance #nospicefantasy by @lenorestutz
