I'm not sure why I haven't talked much about my heritage here yet. Being Native is very important to me, even though I'm still not fully sure what I'm doing. Growing up mixed and away from my tribe, I never got to learn from my elders and grow up with the community. A lot of the time, I feel like an imposter.

That's why this video is quite vulnerable for me to share with you, and I hope that you enjoy learning a bit about my history.

Nothing like finding a new place to hike!

Radnor Lake State Natural Area is gorgeous, I am so glad I stumbled upon it when looking for a new place to explore. The trail is well-maintained, and it's quiet but busy so I felt quite safe on my hike.

October in Tennessee

On a rare cool afternoon, I was able to get out and explore Lake Radnor in the Nashville area. The park itself is beautiful and busy, with lots of wildflowers still blooming.

The Nashville Opera's production of Tosca closes tomorrow.

Stunning, hand-painted Italian backdrops, insanely skilled singers, and gorgeous costuming have made this timelessly twisted tale burst to life!

It has truly been an honor to see this cast meet and create such incredible art in just 3 weeks, and I just know they will meet and make art many more times in their careers.

In boca al lupo, tutti. I can't wait to see where your closing night goes.
