It’s been such a treat bringing Lucky Bandana to life with @jojowalesiewicz — from the branding and website to the photography. 🤎 Her neighborhood bake stand instantly reminded me of home and the roadside farm stands across Upstate, NY. Getting to build a brand around that same sense of nostalgia and community was such a fun creative process. 🚜🌾 I love getting to work with woman-owned small businesses and can’t wait to see how Lucky Bandana Bakery continues to grow! 💛 You must try their granola!! I’m not sure I told you directly but I moved to San Diego a year ago. 🫢 I kind of hard launched into a new chapter of life. I had never been to California & I didn’t know anyone. (Well, technically I did have a San Diego layover a couple months earlier & met some people from San Diego while in Maui. But, I digress— stories for another day.) This move was a bit chaotic even for me. 😂 🐍 As the Year of the Snake comes to a close and my one year anniversary approaches, it feels like the right time to reflect on my year of transformation. The most challenging part of moving cross country was definitely having to rebuilding my community. Moving to a new city was like my first year of college except everyone moved in at different times, I can’t swipe my ID card for a meal (& still can’t 🥲) , & I have to be a “full-adult”🤢(real adult? idk we’re workshopping). I’m proud of myself for making it this far, and I can’t wait to share more of my California chapter with you.
