My stomach was literally flipping all day leading up to this performance! It's been a year since @dancewithnandito and I debuted our first routine together (my first time without a team) and I still freak out before we perform 🤣 Thankful for Fernando's ability to lighten the mood with his sense of humor!

Routine #2 Eleanor Rigby 🤩🤩🤩@ladimensionlatina 🎼

Thank you team for letting me perform with you all! It had been 3 months since I practiced this routine but my body surprisingly remembered it!

Loved sharing the stage with these talented dancers (& just generally awesome people). Yes, there was a little mishap 😆 but that'll maybe be another reel 👀💀 by @lenzjacks

The best dances are when both dancers are fully present... listening to the music, to each other, and to themselves ✨ It's so easy (at least for me!) to get distracted by what's going on in the room, or what's going on in my head (self criticism, thinking ahead, etc.)! Staying present is a practice, but the pay off is totally worth it 🩷

🕺@thebignesh Your musicality & your joy on the dancefloor is infectious 🙌 Thank you for the dance!

Day✌️of my Bachata Fusion private lessons with @josway_official ✨ I'm noticing the difference already (and so are others!) 🤯 Learning a new style in depth like this makes me feel like a beginner, and I love it! 😍

This lesson we started with basic body movement drills. I'm pretty comfortable with merengue action/contra body movement but FOR SOME REASON I forget to bend my knees and move my hips in bachata partnerwork, especially when doing fusion styles! 😏😑 So this was a great reminder to use the floor, use my body, and slow down my basic.

FRAME 🖼️ my bachata(zouk) frame needs work. Like a lot of it. But we're making progress! Simple things like keeping my elbows in front of my shoulders and learning to give my partner a little more of my weight in our connection by relaxing my arms more... Easier said than done 😅

There were so many little epiphanies during this hour private lesson which makes it all worth the investment ✨ Thank you @katyjosue_ for everything. The group classes + private lesson combo is sooo effective & I encourage more dancers to try it. 🤩🤗

What's that saying 👀"The more I learn, the less I understand." 😅 I know I'm making progress though because @rip3mang0es is introducing more bachata fusion elements into our dancing ✨

Alsooo this is our second time being recorded dancing to this song 😆 Love it though! Thanks for the dance Raymond 🤗

Enjoyed the challenge of this dance! ✨ Such a fan of @tornado.salsero as a dancer, performer, teacher, & (as I get to know him a lil) person. ❤️ Highly recommend dancing with Scott to experience his famous drape & toss madness while trying to keep your feet on time 💀 Also recommend taking a private lesson with him at the next festival you see him at as he's an amazing teacher! 😉

Thank you for the dance and all your dance wisdom this past weekend 🙏🙏🙏
