Fun fact: the majority of Colorado is actually rolling plains. I got to lean into this on a recent shoot for @clevelandautomationsystems - capturing a set of content for environmental regulatory compliance for oil & gas industries.

Industrial setting - warm tones, set in the middle of open fields. The morning light on this one absolutely went off 🙌

A special thanks to @mikekasarda for stellar BTS photography 🙏 taken in Colorado by @leo.sideras

A handful of video stills from my work with @shokzusa & @hellenobiri.

You can’t tell from the images, but it was below freezing and snowing on and off the entire shoot. Everyone involved absolutely crushed it.

It was a privilege to help capture a campaign featuring one of the world’s top distance runners right here in Colorado - absolutely looking forward to more projects like this.

A special thank you to director & photographer @philhillstudio for bringing me onboard 🙌

And thank you @dev_shotem for the boss assist 💪 taken in Colorado by @leo.sideras

Earlier this year I worked with @shokzusa to capture multiple world champion @hellenobiri - what an absolute time.

A massive thank you to @philhillstudio for bringing me on for this portion of your project 🙏 such a pleasure working with you mate.

And a massive thank you to @dev_shotem for assisting us on this cold day 🙌

This is my personal cut of the project - the full campaign is called Chasing Stars and features several world class runners from around the world - you can find it live on the Shokz YouTube channel. taken in Boulder, Colorado by @leo.sideras

Following up from last week - The Boule in motion by @boyd_lighting

The goal here was simple: highlight the craftsmanship and let the details speak. Bringing this one to live in motion felt like a natural extension of the stills.

Designed for flexibility across digital, paid advertising, and trade in :30 & :12-second cuts.

This piece wasn’t originally on the shot list and it ended up being a favorite!

The crew that made it happen:

Excited to begin releasing the visuals for The Boule from @boyd_lighting - it’s such a cool & clean piece, entirely handmade in a few color ways.

This is part 2 of 3 from our shoot in December. Would love one of these to put on a record console in my living room.

My team & I delivered a set of select images, a 30-second spot and a shorter cutdown to be used in B2B sales, paid media, and marketing material for their trade reps around the world.

A shoutout to @dev_shotem & @coltonfarrow for helping to make this happen!

Postcards from Utah 🏜️ taken in Utah by @leo.sideras

First camp trip of the year came earlier than expected - I’ve had this spot circled on the map for about 3 years, and finally got the chance to make the trek. There aren’t too many places where you can look at an epic desert valley - make a 180 - and see gorgeous snowcapped mountains. All within 15 miles of each other. Looking forward to more of this ⛺️🏜️🌵 taken in Utah by @leo.sideras

Southern California 🤝 @vsco new film presets

I had the chance to test VSCO’s new film presets on my road trip to SoCal and am genuinely surprised by how much I like these. They’re such a strong creative tool for nailing down a look! As someone who started out shooting film, they really capture those nostalgic, filmic characteristics that I love.

Fun Fact: I’ve hand-developed and scanned most of these film stocks myself, so seeing how closely these presets match and how versatile they are was cool!

All photos shot on the Sony A7IV and edited only for white balance and exposure prior to applying the VSCO preset. Swipe through for the full gallery, day-to-nite ➡️

tw: baby loss / stillborn

after growing our dream girl for 25 weeks, we were tragically told she no longer had a heartbeat. losing her so suddenly was completely devastating. two days later, we tenderly welcomed our sleeping baby girl: Olive. we felt so honored to meet, hold and be with her for a while.

saying goodbye and leaving the hospital without her was an unbearable pain. it’s hard to comprehend that the most beautiful moment in my life exists alongside the most traumatic. having and losing Olive has completely rewired me as a person. my heart is beyond broken as i try to process a life without her.

we are so grateful for our family & friends for their continuous outpour of love and support. the messages, gifts, meals and daily check-ins have truly lifted us out of our darkest days.

to Leo: your unwavering strength and unconditional care for our family has been otherworldly. my love and admiration for you as a partner and as the father to our daughter has grown so deeply. i wouldn’t have survived it without you.

to my Olive girl: i feel so privileged to have grown together for the short time we had. i have never felt more happiness and love in my life than in the moment i first saw and held you. there will not be a day that goes by where i don’t think of you and wish you to be here. you are forever woven into my life. we love you so much🕊️ by @leo.sideras

The Vale by @boyd_lighting

This is part 1 of a 3-part series for Boyd Lighting. They reached out to me last November to produce a video spot and still photo assets for the soft-launch of 3 new pieces.

I’ve worked with Boyd several times and the past, and what I appreciate most is the amount of collaboration and trust throughout the process, not to mention how design-forward they are.

For this project I brought on a couple of stellar local creatives to help out. Over 1/2 pre-light day, 1 production day (and the Boyd holiday party in between) we got to create some awesome footage that has already made its way to galleries in Paris.

A special thanks to Boyd for bringing me in for another project, and for my small & mighty team for absolutely crushing it!

It’s been a fun past couple of months on the content production front!

I’ve gotten to work on some incredible projects, push my production limits, and collaborate with tons of awesome creatives along the way.

Very stoked to be carrying this into the new year and can’t wait for what is next.

These are a handful of BTS photos from my recent production with @boyd_lighting (which I’m excited to start sharing soon!)

📸: A big thanks to @coltonfarrow for snapping these 🙏 taken in Colorado Springs, Colorado by @leo.sideras
