My new work for @hublot and their MP-10 Tourbillon Energy System Watch

I can now confidently say that this is the most challenging and interesting project I’ve ever worked on. It runs nearly a minute and a half and comprises about 45 scenes, with another 20–30 left on the cutting room floor.

I put this project together entirely in Houdini and C4D (Redshift Render) and entirely on my own!

I learned a lot of new skills and tricks, and I’m grateful to the creators whose Patreons were a huge help in bringing my ideas to life! @nickmedukha @sketchyvisuals @timjdesign

Also, a huge thank you to @leo.soundss for the magnificent sound design. I wouldn’t have finished this project without him😅

I’ve poured a piece of my life into this project, so I’d be grateful for your support!

Breaking down the sound behind this Nissan 380SX spec @mitchmyers_ofc , built around movement, weight, and control.

For this one I leaned into a darker, cinematic electronic tone, paired with sound design that shifts between realism and stylized impact.

– Mechanical SFX to ground the car in something physical
– Cinematic layering to push intensity where needed
– Music that follows the drift, not fights it
– Transitions that carry momentum instead of interrupting it

The goal was simple, make it feel like the sound is driving the visuals, not just sitting on top of them.

I recently revisited a scene from CapnTrade and decided to rescore it.

Not to reinvent the scene, but to test how my approach to scoring has evolved.

Over the past year I’ve been thinking a lot about restraint. Earlier in my work I often felt the need to fill space, layer more, push bigger. Now I’m realizing how powerful simplicity can be.

A single harmonic idea.
A texture that breathes.
Letting the image do half the storytelling.

This rescore became less about adding music and more about shaping atmosphere around the scene.

It’s a small exercise, but it reflects a bigger shift in how I think about music for picture.

Always learning. Always refining the voice.

BTS of some work with @cinemograph of his vibrant 3D Superfly Spec

When the frame is this bold and saturated, the sound can’t be passive.

I leaned into:

– Electronic pads to establish atmosphere
– Guitars + risers as the shoe cuts through frame
– Sub drop to transition momentum
– Final section built around a trap-driven pulse
