Tessa and I are deeply in love and working hard on being our best selves. We’re loving our gaggle of nieces and nephews. We’ve celebrated one year of homeownership and new steps in our careers.
.
I have hit the ground running in a new phase of gnar-facilitation. Travel sales with Rocky Mountain Getaways is off to a great start, a new tool has put gear sales back on the table, and more exciting news is coming soon 😉

Winter is coming and with it, a whole slew of new adventures await me on mountains near and far. Thank you to all the people in my life that lift me up and keep it fun! taken in Keystone Ski Resort by @leoisskiing

I’d be lying if I said the current rhetoric around trans people wasn’t affecting me. I’ve found myself downplaying my pride, holding my identity closer to my chest, and avoiding situations that might put me on the spot. I’ve always been very aware of my privilege and because of that, have tried very hard to be visible where I can for those who can’t. I almost didn’t want to post today for #transdayofvisibility. It feels scary and it feels dangerous but I’m not going to hide and I’m not going to run. I am only here today because I have so many amazing people that love and support me, like my sister, who as of yesterday is a mom ❤️ I am so proud and excited to call myself Uncle Leo by @leoisskiing

A New Era ❤️ We’ve experienced some of the happiest and saddest moments of our lives in the past month.

Tessa and I say Scorpio season is our power season, with both of our birthdays, our anniversary, and the change of fall to winter. It’s a season of rebirth.

In the midst of complicated times in our world, we find love and comfort in our family, friends, and community.

We renewed our vows on our 5 year anniversary, celebrating over meals and scenic Colorado views with our closest people. We got to enjoy the ceremony we never had the first time. Celebrating our love, our new home, and all of our great fortune.

Shortly after, our beloved Emi “Pie” suddenly declined only to discover she was coming to her end with lymphoma. We spent the last couple of days giving her lots of love, pets, cuddles, snacks, kisses, and laps. This morning we gave her a peaceful transition at home, in our arms. It was an honor to have her and to know her was to love her.

We have so much to be grateful for ❤️
Love, Leo and Tessa
