A moment of appreciation for this team. No dance shots just pure love and joy. Dance is one of the most important parts of this team but the biggest is trust, loyalty, friendship, and love. As much as it is fun to take photos of them in action, these behind the scenes mean so much more to me, as a photographer, coach, and alumni. This team builds long lasting relationships and leaves a lasting impression on you. No matter who you are, where you are, or what you do, this team is always there for you. It has been yet another honor to be apart of this team and to experience the joy it brings to so many people. With love from your photographer, your coach, your friend, your alumni, and your biggest supporter.💙💙 by @leonas_lens_

You Won’t Break Their Souls. Mount Mansfield Dance Team are the Vermont State Jazz Champions. They brought the motivation, they built their own foundation, and they were built for this. Next stop New Englands💙🪩🐾 (02/21/26) by @leonas_lens_

Happy National Dance Day. It’s important now more than ever to not only encourage women’s sports but recognize dance as a sport. Dance is a universal sport, meant to be enjoyed but all. Having been apart of the dance world for many years, I can say I have witnessed my fair share of doubters, and heard many opinions. “How can dance be a sport?” “It’s not like dance is hard” “Why.” I have heard “why” and have heard “no” to many times to count. Why is dance a sport? A dancer is just as athletic if not more athletic than a football player. An injury is just as damaging to a dancer as it is to a basketball player. No sport should be superior than the other. But every sport should be equally recognized for its individual achievements and accomplishments. It’s so important to embrace a “lesser” sport, we are not just dancers. We are athletes. Strong, confident, capable, talented, resilient, powerful, determined, and more. Congratulations to all who celebrate National Dance Day.
