We are looking for a new baking and pastry professional to join our kitchen team. We run a fast paced, scratch kitchen that supports both our wholesale and retail sides. Ideal candidate is self sufficient and has a foundation in baking and pastry.

Pay based on experience.

Plum ice cream is out in stores now! 🌸 But it won’t be for long. We make all of our fruit flavors from real fruit and most of it locally grown. But the late freeze this spring really messed up stone fruit…so almost no peach, cherry or plums in the state! We used the last of our reserves for one beautiful batch of plum ice cream. So if you see it grab it!!

Our Annual Craft Crawl is next Saturday along Penn Ave! We can’t wait to have a blast with y’all and make stuff over the day! We are looking for a few more volunteers to help us craft, block print and just bring this super fun event to Penn Ave. DM us to volunteer and we’ll trade ya some workshop class credit.

Also if you’re excited to come and participate- we will have an $8 pass that support the event and gets you a super nice wide fancier tote bag you can block print all up and down the street over the day. It helps cover the costs of the event and is pretty sweet! We will have over 20 craft stations along the path that we’ll announce this Friday along with tickets for the craft pass/ tote bag. STAY TUNED! The event is free to go explore and enjoy though with lots of free or low cost/ donation based crafts you join in on besides the popular block printing tour.
We had such a blast last year and so many folks came out to craft and scope out all the amazing Penn Ave businesses. There’s so many new businesses that have opened along the Penn Avenue corridor, and we host this event so that you can get out there and craft, connect and engage in so many different spots while also supporting these amazing daytime businesses during construction. It’s all volunteer run and we do it to give you crafting fun and community, as well as to support all the amazing businesses up and down Penn Ave. Can’t wait to see ya! taken in Garfield, Pittsburgh by @leonasllc

Penn Ave. bees are the best! We have a hive in our Wilkinsburg kitchen garden, right on Penn Ave. These bees have been sooooo busy This year our harvest was fantastic and with the help of our amazing apiary partner, Ondo Apiary, we bottled it for sale!

Each bottle is 1 lb of raw honey gathered from our bees 3.5 miles down Penn Ave. And is available for purchase at our scoop shop.

TONIGHT! We’re celebrating the 44th anniversary of E.T. in a very delicious way, in honor of the Reese’s Pieces use to lure E.T. 👽

Come watching the movie starting at 7pm AND have a peanutbutter and chocolate beer float with Two Frays peanutbutter porter and @leonasllc chocolate ice cream.

Stop by Leona’s first and ask for chocolate ice cream for the Two Frays float and then bring it down to the taproom. We’ll fill the rest with our peanutbutter porter, and you can enjoy it while you watch the movie!

August Scoops For Good partner is @garfieldfarm. For the Month of August we will be donating $2/scoop of our Sweet Corn Caramel flavor, one of our Garden Series flavors.

Garfield Community Farm (GCF) is a place-based nonprofit located in and serving the Garfield community. Since 2009, they’ve worked to advance food sovereignty, environmental justice, and neighborhood resiliency in Garfield. GCF accomplishes this by increasing access to fresh produce and educational opportunities with its neighbors and volunteers, and by demonstrating ecological restoration through urban agriculture in the Garfield neighborhood.

They grow and distribute 1600+ pounds of affordable, organic produce within Garfield, support 1000+ youth and adults annually.

Introducing our Garden Series with Sweet Corn Caramel. This beautiful scoop features roasted sweet corn from our pals @triple_b_farms! We think it’s best with our house-made caramel sauce, so it’s included on top. For the photo we added oatmeal lace crumbs because why not, they are exquisite.
