Leon is our other Artistic Director of South Side! He’s an Actor, Theatre Maker and DJ. Here’s what he has to say about South Side:

“Southside is a project I’m deeply passionate about. I love the artistic culture we’ve created in South London and I want to he a part of making that culture more accessible for other South Londoners” ~ @leonday_jr

Southbank 75th Anniversary X Sounds Like Chaos 🔥

What a first Gig 🙌🏽. Growing up looking up to my Dad as a DJ, I never thought I’d be able to follow in his steps. Years later I got to play at the southbank centre, and get a pull up on my cousins tune. I’m super grateful and glad I started this new side quest in the creative career.

I dunno about yall but Actor DJ does sound kinda cool to me as a career path 😌.

Major big ups to @soundslikechaos for booking me 💪🏽,@southbankcentre for having me perform in their venue 🔥, Tiernan brown - @chickenphotog for the pictures 🥶, @chiquitaa_xx for getting me the gig 🙌🏽and my family for inspiring me and shaping my love for music 🙏🏽🙏🏽
