Proud to share my triptych series created for @winqnl x @opelnl Photography Pride Edition.

And beyond words… deeply honored that BECOMING was selected as the winning series by the @studioerwinolaf Foundation jury.
-
Means the world—thank you for seeing the story behind the work.
—
Becoming is an experimental blend of my creative love languages: photography, 3D art, and digital fashion.
-
Inspired by the🏳️‍⚧️trans flag, each chapter reflects identity as a journey of grace, strength, and transformation—a visual ode title:

Here it is 💚 my official booklaunch flyer. 14 november from 19:00 at @kopstootbaramsterdam

Especially after the depressing election results, I can’t wait to share the space with you and be in community

Everyone on this lineup is Black and a member of our LGBTQIA+ community 🥹🦋

LINEUP

From 19:00: A free welcome drink sponsored by the best @qualichi.rum.punch Caribbean Rum Punch by Lena Browne (she/her) 😻
Oualichi or Qualichi stands for island of strong brave women of the Arawaks. Before the Dutch colonized it and named it Sint Maarten.
Please only take one drink per person, so we can all share.

From 19:00 Book selling & signing. If you buy it in person I get 40% of the price (€22,99), online I receive 12%. Also possible to sign up for the English PDF.
I am using the book-sales to pay for my amazing artists.

From 20:00 - 21:30/22:00 Performances by the talented @kctheproblem (she/her) and @zulugreen (she/he/they)😻
Ballroom performer KC is gonna show you how it’s done: vogue, runway and s3x siren - she can do it all.
ZULU GREENs music ranges from trap to sultry 90s-inspired R&B, which, like Green, defies categorization. Their music is unapologetically BLACK, QU33R, & VIBEY!
In between I will read snippets from the book - Herenigd met mijn Zwart zijn 🥹

From 22:00 - 030:00 My favorite and s3xy DJ’s @jollyfishcial (they/she) @djblvcknola (she/her) @rafaela.mendeszoon (she/her)😻
They will play everything between Amapiano · 3 Step · Gqom · Afro House · Afro Tech

Karaoke & Photobooth upstairs✨
My fave @luciano.enchanted (they/them) will take stunning pics 😻

I can’t wait to celebrate our Blackness, our Qu33rness.
I can’t wait to show you these amazing artists - I am so happy they want to join me this night.

This will be a night of realness, of being true to myself, of vulnerable stories.
Welcome to my HOUSE for a night.
See comments for House Rules 🩵
