It’s International Yoga day und you think: Uuups I didn’t do any yoga today? Well, you might mean your asana practice, but there are actually so many other ways to practice yoga off the mat. Here are 5 ways I practice yoga in my daily life: when I surrender to sickness and grief, when I paint, sing, watch the waves or dive deep into the ocean.
How do you practice yoga off the mat? ##holisticyoga #yogaoffthemat #yogawisdom by @leoniemikkie

Still figuring this out with the "regulated nervous system" and you probably are too. It's a day-by-day choice to meet yourself right where you are at. Maybe there is one small thing you can give to your nervous system today to feel a little calmer!? 🤍
And this might be very different from what mine needs… which today was apparently balancing upside down on my chin 🤪 ... and BREATHE.

✨ ANG SANG WAHE GURU ✨

The Divine is within every cell of your being.

“Ang Sang Wahe Guru” is a sacred mantra from the Sikh and Kundalini Yoga traditions, reminding us that we are never truly separate from the Divine.

Ang: Every limb, every cell, every part of you.
Sang: Together with, in the presence of.
Wahe Guru: An expression of wonder at divine wisdom and light.

The deeper meaning:
The Divine is with you in every moment, in every breath, and in every part of your being.

A mantra for loneliness, grief & healing.

During times of loss, sadness, or disconnection, this mantra invites us to remember that love and divine presence are always within us. Even when life changes and people leave, we can reconnect with the love that lives deep inside.

You are not separate. You are held. You are connected. You are never truly alone.

Close your eyes, breathe deeply, and gently repeat:

Ang Sang Wahe Guru

Leonie introduced me to this beautiful mantra when she came to visit for our Kirtan. After the Kirtan, it stayed in my head for days!

Thank you, Leonie, for sharing this beautiful mantra with me and connecting me with its beautiful energy. ❤️

He Govinda, He Gopāla
He Vāsudeva, He Nityānanda
Śrī Rādhe, Rādhe, Rādhe

A beautiful mantra celebrating the names of Krishna and Radhe, traditionally chanted as an expression of love, devotion, and connection.

What a joy to share our love for music and to let our voices meet.

It’s so powerful to come together and to share what makes our hearts feel alive and how naturally it brings us closer.

More of this, please. ✨

🇳🇵K I R T A N F O R N E P A L 🇳🇵

Wednesday wanders… 💭
In the past days I kept thinking it’s funny how seriously we take our own life and being. How many storms we let rage inside our minds, even though we’re only here for a brief moment, with so little control over anything around us.
Of course, we try to create a life that feels beautiful and happy. But in the end, living is just constant trial and error. Every morning we wake up and start all over again, never really knowing if we just woke up from sleep, from death, or from another realm alltogether.
And yet, our own little existence feels so heavily important, compared to a world that will outlast us for long after we’re gone. But maybe that’s also part of learning how to live, one temporary moment at a time. by @leoniemikkie
