Here we go! 1st Post!

This guy is doing well on Reddit. I think I caught the essence!

A kit bash based on Lt. Zakariah of “front of the Dark Angels Codex” fame.

Kitbashed from a Sternguard Vet body with the following:

DA Upgrade sprue:

- Power Sword (actually think it’s Raven Wing due to the feathers.

- Crux Terminatus pauldron / hood

Intercessors box - plasma pistol

@greytidestudio :

- right hand pauldron / Eternal Pilgrims brazier back pack.

Will keep updated on the painting & basing!

AZRAEL ~ Well I finally got him done!

3 days for him and the first proper character model I’ve done so a bit of a landmark moment after putting it off for so long.

Tried some new techniques too. I’d like to improve the Sword Of Secrets but that’s a you tube tutorial for another day.

In the meantime he’s ready to tear it up with his freshly minted Assault Intercessor Squad for expansion objective holding and a push later game.

For the Lion! 🦁 #darkangels #darkangels40k #warhammercommunity #warhammer40k #lieutenantzakariah #spacemarines #forthelion #WarhammerCommunity #SpaceMarines40k

TERMINATOR META!! | Picked these firstborn beauts as an eBay rescue and gave them a bit of an update. Love a terminator, it’s why I got in to the game 30 years ago before I left and returned 18 months ago. Can’t wait to field these guys in the new termie detachment! by @leonine_aggression

Knights Of Iron | These Ravenwing Black Knights are ready to skirmish @rebelbasegaming at an RTT on Saturday. An awesome mix of Firstborn and more recent knights, one of whom is popping a wheelie! (Thanks Liam!)

Not enough damage to take them with Sammael atm so they’ll be split in to 3’s as amazing skirmish units 🫡🥳 by @leonine_aggression

RAVENWING COMMAND SQUAD 🪽⚔️

The hunt begins.

Absolutely loved getting the champion finished. Yet another one that’s been waiting for a year or so to get off the pile of opportunity. Caliban green, bone, red and enough iconography to make the Lion proud.

There’s something about Ravenwing that just hits differently — speed, aggression and that unmistakable First Legion aesthetic.

What Ravenwing unit should join them next? by @leonine_aggression

INNER CIRCLE COMPANIONS | Fresh from the painting desk and another box that’s take me over a year to get around to painting. Happy with my progress as a painter and a player though and I think worth waiting to paint these stunning models ready for 11th!

Updated this post now they’re based in fresh Caliban jungle greenery.

DEATHWING KNIGHTS | Finally got these beauties on the painting table! A gift from bestie as we started our WH40k journey last year and another instance of taking 13 months to paint something. They’re a staple of every list I play, two squads in Gladius with The Lion or three in Wrath. Still a stat check, usually in my favour regardless of whatever else happens on the board or in the game.

PS went for some green rims on this squad. It can be a bit of a cluster bomb with 2 squads on one objective so good to tell them apart easily!

CANIS WREX | Canis Rex is a unique Knight Preceptor piloted by Sir Hekthur Cerberan, a Freeblade known as “the Chainbreaker,” who was once a scion of House Cerberan, which ruled the Knight World of Randoryn Alpha.

After his homeworld and house fell to conquest by the Heretic Astartes of the Iron Warriors Traitor Legion, Cerberan prayed to the Emperor for a miracle while the Chaos Space Marines tortured him.

His prayers were answered when his Knight Preceptor’s Machine Spirit activated his war machine on its own and aided him in his escape. Now Cerberan and Canis Rex travel the galaxy, seeking to free all those in the Imperium who have been oppressed by Chaos and more mundane tyrants alike.

Delighted to get my Canis proxy finished. Sir Hekhtur Cerberan to follow.

In this knights meta, 5 bigs in Questoris Companions seems to be the way to go. I’m running triple lancer, Canis and Crusader. Canis super useful for that un-battleshock for rampaging Lancers. by @leonine_aggression
