one of the hardest things i’ve ever shared ❤️‍🩹

I’ve been wanting to share this with you for such a long time… but it always felt really scary to open up about it (and it still does… currently bawling my eyes out alone in the car while writing this).

This is a really sensitive topic for me, and only now I feel like I’ve gained a little bit of strength… enough to step slightly outside of it and finally talk about it.

For a while, I felt like I wasn’t being fully honest with you… like my life here didn’t feel completely real.

It’s true, Instagram is often a highlight reel. I tend to share my best moments, when I feel my best. But the reality of the past year and a half has been a little bit different.

There have been so many beautiful moments, I won’t deny that. I’ve had so many amazing opportunities and times where my life felt like a dream… but also so many tears, and so much struggling… especially with my mental health.

I want to be more real here. I don’t ever want you to feel alone in those moments where you feel down, stressed, or anxious.

I finally feel like I’m starting to come out of this. There’s still a long way to go… but we’re getting there. So let’s do this together.

I can’t wait to feel like myself again… and to become a stronger, healthier version of me ❤️

For those who know, I moved to Australia 4 years ago, and if there’s one thing I’ll never trade, it’s coming back home every year to see the people I love most.

I just spent the last 3 months in Portugal, and somehow 3 months went by in the blink of an eye. So many memories with friends and family, so many beautiful places, long summer days, spontaneous plans, and way too many road trips on my Nissan Juke @nissanportugal 🤍

Living so far from home has made me appreciate these summers even more. You realise how special it is to come back to the places that raised you, to the people who know you best, and to create new memories in a place that will always feel like home.

3 months, countless memories, and definitely not enough time.

Until next summer, Portugal 🤍🇵🇹
