7/11/26 A week ago we my Afro-Latina Queen @georgina_janette and I had a house warming/birthday party and it was a really good time!! Unfortunately we didn't get a lot of photos but here's a photo of the cake that Georgina designed, a couple of group photos and a video of everyone singing happy birthday, me blowing out the cake and apparently giving a speech! Thanks for all those who showed up, got gifts and just showed love! I greatly appreciate it 🙏🏽 Special shout and thanks to @letsbendreality Who I've known for about 15 years now. @yanceywells Who I've known for over a decade! Same for @mjgnnc @shanepaulmcghie who I've known for over 8 years! @sassymakesfilms Who I feel like I've known forever! And definitely a special thanks to my very special lady Georgina who helped make it all possible! I love you and appreciate you! Thanks again to everyone who showed up. Truly I appreciate you all! 🙏🏽❤️ by @leonpiercejr

So, back in mid May I'm in the theater opening weekend watching Obsession and I'm like, oh wow I already made this movie! And I'm not saying that to take away anything that Curry and his team did. I really believe they made a really great film and I very much enjoyed it! But over 10 years I made a short that's very comparable in regards to story and in the creepy comedic tone of the film. That film is The Kiss! I never submitted to any festivals, or watched it with an audience until the other night thanks to my good friend @charlesjgray and his new movie night @lolopopcinema And the film was well received and it felt great seeing something that I did so long still being enjoyed! For anyone who would like to see the film to to YouTube and put in InsaneGeniusTV (one word) followed by The Kiss. Special shout out to our amazing cast @emimorell @yoskylerseymour @ididitbrit @katiemarygarland and @marie_del_marco by @leonpiercejr
