When I say I got it from my momma this is what I mean: At 3 years old I was the flower girl in a wedding and was desperate to wear a dress like the other little girls in the bridal party. Cynth refused and put me in knickerbockers, a waistcoat, a blouse, a beret and Doc Martens instead - one of which had a lock on the laces, and the other, keys.
