We are deeply heartbroken to announce that our beloved Mr. Chivas left us peacefully and crossed the Rainbow Bridge this Tuesday, April 30, 2024 around 2 p.m., surrounded by his Mom and Dad, he was released from his suffering or illness seems to have taken over significantly. He was suffering from possible lung cancer and in recent days his health had deteriorated drastically and he had difficulty eating and drinking etc. he seemed to be gradually withdrawing from the family life in which he loved to take part. He no longer ate his usual food, no longer went to the litter box, even if it was next to him. He seemed like a shadow of his former self and was sleeping too much.

As soon as we knew he was carrying this burden 1 year ago, we started anti-inflammatory medication and his symptoms decreased significantly. He seemed in good shape, despite everything. The anti-cancer treatments would have been too intense for him, so we ruled out this possibility. We were so looking forward to going outside and going for walks, but fate had it otherwise. He will have spent 10 years being part of our family and making us happy. Mr. Chivas was given to us around the age of 1 year and a few months, and had serious behavioral problems (a past of which I do not know all the details, but he was alone too often), so he was very anxious from the start. We gave so much love and patience to this cat, that he became the best companion over time. We had a very special connection with him. It was our human cat. All the power was in his eyes and his voice sometimes carried very far! He became my emotional therapist, the supporter of our moods. He loved spending time with us and in his Catio, designed for him (or almost).

Thank you for being our Best Buddy, Emotional Therapist, Elite Family Member, Blogger, Meowdel and pastry chef of the best biscuits! You will be missed a lot. Rest in Peace My FRIEND.

Je vous présente Tipaket, un chat intrépide et aventurier, toujours prêt à explorer. Il voulait toujours aller dehors. On avait une belle complicité, On faisait la course ensemble… il faisait rager les voisins, revenais pleins de bobos… tu en a vécu des déménagements toi mon paquet. Tu m’a suivi presque partout… je sais que tu m’aurais suivi plus longtemps encore 💔🕊️🌈

Hommage à mes chats, les amours de ma vie antérieure, les félins qui m’ont marqués et qui m’ont fait grandir. Jamais oubliés, toujours dans mon cœur. Partis trop vite ou de façon dramatique. Merci d’avoir été mes chats.

Hi everybody! We went to my father’s 75th birthday last month and I took some cute pictures of the beautiful Cachou. He is getting so big ! He is a good boy, very intelligent and playful. We love him so much !

Que j’étais bien sur le bord de la porte patio. Même avec un -20 dehors, je me réchauffais à tout coup ! Et je regardais les oiseaux, les écureuils, les arbres bouger au gré du vent. La photo qui a tant inspiré ma mom, elle est devenu folle de mes yeux, de mon look, elle a même dessiné une version de moi qui mange des ramens! Je ne mange même pas ça moi ! Mais je suis heureux d’avoir inspiré ma mom, c’est mon héritage que je lui ai laissé, ma beauté photogénique… elle continue de me faire vivre à travers ses yeux à elle.
