And he introduced me to their local snack (pic 8) as they say, ‘When in Dubai, do as the Dubaiites do!’ by @leopatani

D10 Commitment Retreat 2024 (31/05/2024 - 02/06/2024) It has been a joy journeying with these kids since their D8 catechism, D9 retreat and now here. Fun batch to share Jesus with hehe. Also it was a joy to facil with @jayejayde and @j0shva_jvice cause they could look after the group while I was up and about hehe 1st picture really sums up my entire faith journey. The San Damiano cross, with that catechetical alter, and the guitar at the side. My discernment, ministry and love for PnW. Ok 2nd last pic was me there for the real reason (jkjk) This retreat got me to see Jesus in the kids and to spread the Joy of Christ. Have this batch close to my heart and ATB to yall! See you at church! by @leopatani

OFM Vocation Discernment Retreat (Jun/Jul 2023) Let me just copy and paste my reflection here ya. “Idk where to start! These days have been amazing I would say, and the friars we met were a testimony to the way of life that St Francis called: to LIVE the Gospel. I have many takeaways, but I’ll share one which I believe would be the most influential one for me. We spent some time at Greccio Friary at Chestnut Drive gardening with the friars. The post novice master (Fra Vernon liked gardening and was guiding us on what to do. I was given the job of transferring the garden compost that they had in one bag (the bag was tearing apart) and transferring it to another bag. There was around 70-80kg of organic matter to transfer. While we were transferring, the friar was telling us that the matter was Gold, and would walk away, come back and say it again. He told us that 3 times and on the 3rd time, he told us that that was the matter which was sustaining the entire garden, since they didn’t buy fertiliser from outside. I suppose the reason why he was repeating was either to signify it’s importance or to tell us nicely to not spill anything (which we were spilling so bad HAHAHAH) Anyways the work was done and he made us do other stuff, and we did up the Sacred Heart statue. How I could relate it with this was, the leaves, branches and other garden waste is the stories and normal episodes we have in life. They look normal and don’t look like things that would inspire people. But only when we take it, preserve it and let it decompose or get digested, would it be useful and even valuable like Gold. If we don’t do that picking it up and keeping it in that bag, there wouldn’t be any Gold! I’ve learnt many other valuable lessons from the Friars, and am looking forward to journey with them by God’s Grace.” Thank you @friar_gerald for organising this amazing retreat!!!! by @leopatani

D10 Confi retreat 2023! Was an amazing experience, and was fortunate to journey with some of my previous D8 kids. This was my 1st f2f retreat where I faciled, and my main facil, @josephpaulquah was honestly the best to learn from. Hats off to @joshuajuicee @jonny.ian for being amazing camp chiefs, and also was my 1st time being a sessionist for a retreat! @vania_nathan made it a whole lot easier lol! Anyways Thank God and the Catechists for this amazing experience and honestly I’ve learned a lot for my journey in the catechetical ministry! There’s a lot of the other facils, service teams and kids that I would love to thank, but for now PTL! by @leopatani
