People see the result. They don’t always see the story.
The stress, the doubt, the pressure, the setbacks… and still choosing to keep going.

That’s what Built From Scratch is about.
Real people. Real journeys. Real conversations. I myself started from nothing with a Burek food truck, I’ve expanded this to a full menu catering up to 4 jobs a week or more but who’s counting 🤣? Even brought out flavoured milks in a can Australians first by the way! Now a podcast. So……tell me what are you wanting to start or have started ? My @babasmilk can is signed by @cannuli13 the one and only 💁‍♀️

This one means a lot to me.
So tell me in the comments what are you building, dreaming about, or trying to make happen right now? 👇 taken in Sydney, Australia by @lepaspodcast

This is for the builders.
The late-night thinkers.
The ones starting before they feel ready.

🎙 Built From Scratch with Lepa- one of my highlights was being featured in the @whomagazine with a double page spread this was a milestone. 💕

Inspiring real people with real stories from scratch startups and everything in between.

Legacy isn’t inherited. It’s built. Photography by @sara_photography_sydney

Every vendor has a version of this moment.

Everything is set. Everything is ready.

And then the food goes out, the guests walk in, or the music starts, and for those two minutes you are just holding your breath.

Lepa described the weight of it in a way I have not heard anyone say before. And yeah, I feel it every single wedding too.

What is that moment for you in your business

Burek out of the oven. Ćevapi on the grill. Salads on the table. Rakia poured.

All of this before the church.

All of this before 9am.

Balkan weddings operate on a completely different level and Lepa breaks it all down in this episode.

Ten orders in @burek_on_wheels a week and she was happy.

Not because Lepa did not want more. Because she was doing something she actually loved for the first time.

40,000 followers and booked out calendar later and that feeling has not changed.

Here's a question in mind: what was the moment you knew you were doing the right thing for your business?

This one is for every knock-back, every closed door and every person who couldn’t see the vision. I saw it and I never stopped believing. 🩷🥛

This photo is everything I feel about the growth of Baba’s Milk pure happiness, pride and excitement for what’s still to come!

I started this journey from nothing but an idea, a deep love for my family and the determination to build something meaningful. Today, Baba’s Milk is growing, breaking barriers and leading the way in a space where women are rarely seen in overseas markets 👊.

I’m doing this for my parents and their legacy, for my children, and for every person who needs proof that you can start with very little and still create something extraordinary. This journey has never just been about selling milk it’s about showing others what’s possible when you believe in yourself and refuse to give up.

I’m so proud of how far we’ve come, but even more excited about where we’re going. The best is still ahead! 🙏🏼

A massive thank you to @sara_photography_sydney for my Forbes Club article shoot, and to everyone for believing in me, my goals and everything I’m building. I cannot wait to share more of these incredible photos and the article with you all soon.

One of my favourite shoots yet… but this photo tops them all! 🩷 taken in Sydney, Australia by @lepaspodcast

Lepa bought a vending machine for the @kissfmaustralia office during Kyle and Jackie O's pink October campaign.

It did not fit in the lift.

That vending machine is now in a shopping centre selling chocolate milk.

Her @babasmilk is now in Dubai, the Opera House, and on a private ship where apartments start at fifteen million dollars.

One blocked lift. One billion-dollar chain of events.

If you were in Lepa's situation, would you have kept the machine or sold it?

Everything she shared is in the full episode. Worth every minute. 🔗

🚨 NEW EPISODE ALERT 🚨

@luk11c started at McDonald's at 14. No one in her family had ever owned a business, it was always find a job and work.

Her dad passed when she was 38 and that's when she decided to build something of her own instead.

Now @burek_on_wheels and @babasmilk are on superyachts and shipping overseas.

Genuinely one of the most inspiring stories I've recorded.

Coming very soon 🎙️

Today I did it. I achieved a goal that meant so much to me.

I walked into a classroom and taught Year 10 students not only how to make pita, but about business, culture, resilience, grief, confidence and life.

What started as a food truck built from grief has slowly led me to catering, pita workshops, a podcast, Baba’s Milk, and now schools.

Sometimes you don’t see where the road is taking you. You just keep showing up, keep believing, keep building, and one day you realise your pain turned into purpose.

Today was that day for me.

To the students who listened, asked questions and gave it a go thank you. You reminded me why this matters. 🤍

When using @balkan_date , there’s something refreshing about meeting someone who already understands your nationality, traditions and culture.

No need to explain what a kum is, what Slava means, why burek is superior, why sarma takes 3 business days to make, or why pasulj hits different. 😂

Sometimes being understood without having to explain everything is the biggest green flag. ❤️ by @lepaspodcast
