Panamá has been receiving me. Not as a visitor, but as kin. It has been speaking to me in a language older than words.

Bare feet on sacred land. Sleeping beneath open skies. Calling in the elements and listening when they answer.

Raw ital foods feeding my blood. Movement restoring memory to my bones in a way that feels like prayer.

Family-style meals, shared breath, shared silence. Days shaped by sun and soil, not clocks.

Nestled on sacred farmland that remembers who we were before forgetting.

I’m reminded how little we actually need to feel whole. The land holds you when you let it.

Some moments are so full that you forget to pull out your phone.

Mahogany had the absolute time of her life yesterday, and my heart is overflowing with gratitude. Every laugh, every hug, every smile reminded me how blessed we are to have such an incredible village.

From setting up, to grilling, to serving food, to cleaning up, to simply showing up with love…everyone played a part. Thank you to each and every one of you for helping make my baby’s birthday so special. It truly was a beautiful day.

I was so busy hosting and enjoying the moment that I barely took any pictures, but maybe that’s the point. I was fully present. Thankfully, a few memories were captured along the way, and this one perfectly reflects the love that surrounded us.

A full heart. A happy little girl. A village that shows up.

There was a time I would’ve talked myself out of going.

Too far.
Too busy.
Too much to do.

But I’m learning that stewardship isn’t just about protecting my peace. It’s also about showing up for the life and the people I’ve prayed for.

Today looked like hugs at the door.
Laughter before brunch.
Women who made space for one another.
And the sweet reminder that community isn’t something you stumble into. It’s something you help build, one “yes” at a time.
